You can convert the USBPorts.kext ( Hackintool or old USBMap.kext ) for Tahoe

by running USBMapInjectorEdit.command or USBMapInjectorEdit.py (requires python) inside the corpnewt USBMap app

modify the Smbios and more

Method to disable Filevault after first boot on installation, you just open System Properties

then go to Privacy and Security and in Security tab select FileVault and after wait encryption

process to finish, disable, wait again for process to finish and you are good to go.

Simple as that..

No need to boot into Recovery Partition or use terminal commands.

Curiosity:
Is your macOS Tahoe going into sleep mode due to inactivity?
Considering the pmset -g configuration::

user-macos@User-macOS-15 ~ % pmset -g
System-wide power settings:
Currently in use:
 hibernatemode        0
 powernap             0
 womp                 1
 networkoversleep     0
sleep                1 (sleep prevented by mds)
 Sleep On Power Button 1
 ttyskeepawake        1
 hibernatefile        /var/vm/sleepimage
 autorestart          0
 disksleep            0
 displaysleep         10
user-macos@User-macOS-15 ~ %

Pls: Are there any items missing or incorrect settings?

Thanks.

Note: Hackintool, power tab:

This method is for the ones that locks the system before first boot with no password to unlock FileVault...

Before boot for the first time, you always need to do what I describe to disable FileVault from the login after install ends...

But if you already booted after that and do not disable FileVault, you will need the commands from recovery partition...

Fernando.

Works well for me after I disabled the disable iomapper quirk. My PC seems to hate that... I also put my USB map in and changed to my serial. I'm a bit surprised because I never changed audio or video but they're both fine. I got USB sound now so you did something right.

My EFI works just as well but I like your booter and I never learnt how to change that. Plus I like the ACPI because I was using Maldon's which is good, but I never knew what it was doing.

I'll run it for a while and do some benchmarks.

Could that be a RestrictEvents bug or a problem with the way you implemented your NVRAM property?  With NVRAM property revpatch=sbvmm, I received Tahoe Beta 2 update on my hack with SMBIOS macMini8,1

Also, OCLP 3.0.0 still uses the NVRAM property:

EDIT: Be sure to include the corresponding NVRAM > Delete in OC config.plist.

Doesn't anyone go to the OCLP Development section to see and read any announcement or progress by the Devs?

the fixes will probably arrive before winter     at least as far as AppleHDA is concerned , I think it shouldn't take long

Hi @naiclub try use this EFI to boot on Sequoia first, and them try use for Tahoe installer. Just no use Recovery mode to run installer, I recommend you use off-line installer on partition or USB. Back-up your data. ;)

EFI CLOVER 5162 TAHOE B2 NOOTRX - NAICLUB.zip

Don't  try use with another partition with Opencore inside. Just remove all EFI folder and use USB formatted in Fat32, for exemple. F11 on start you empty Nvram.

That's the nature of nightly builds.  If you look at the commits to OCLP 3.0.0, Devs allowed OCLP 3.0.0 patcher to run on Tahoe and then they disallowed.  For users who don't closely monitor the commits, it's better for them to wait for official OCLP releases.  It's just the nature of nightly Dev Builds: what may be "working" at one instance in time may not be "working" at the next.

Most recent commits revert the root patcher maximum back to Sequoia (after it was initially increased to Tahoe).

EDIT: @jsl Pay no attention to criticisms about your question.  It's not like you're the first to make an observation that is meaningful to you but is not meaningful to others.  Just look at how many times people have asked the same question about revpatch=sbvmm (just as an example) and you'll know what I mean.  It's the nature of a thread.  Many questions will be asked repeatedly and many observations will be made repeatedly.  It's why I call this thread a soap opera :)

only one internal usb cables used. and  6  case fans  (four fans on the Mora 420 controlled though Aqua computer controller

PS: all the efforts and alternative solutions to restore the missing kext (AppleHDA) for the audio of this Beta 2 are fine. However, there is another aspect to consider.

I am of the opinion that in the Beta 3 version, I restore the missing kext (AppleHDA), because if they intended to remove it permanently, Apple would not have put it in the first beta.
Trusting in what I think, Apple will surely put it back, also because there is the issue that for the Intel Macs they will still give the last support with this Tahoe...
