I had settings as @eSaF but no success with Tahoe. I'll do more tests. I'll recheck all.

I noticed that in the kernel block there is only the min 23.0.0, there is no max try to put it (24.0.0)

I just had give up to my Radeon RX 570... I just bought a ASRock Radeon RX 6600 8GB for my Desktop...

 

I had an Intel i5 11400 witch has Intel HD Graphics 730 UHD, that is not compatible with Apple, so I decide in an processor of 10a gen or to buy a new graphics card.

So I take the wise option in upgrade with a new Graphics card that in our case a 100% success in Tahoe builds.

 

When it arrives I will post the pictures of my system running macOS Tahoe.

hi you have to install intel power gadget and then go into the app setting and tick Intel power gadget

As a matter of fact, the solution was MUCH better than buying a card just for the last of an Apple OS.

If we could go on with the knowledge that we would not be locked out of that part of Apple's ecosystem, then I would definitely invest in a new Graphics Card.

 

So with Tahoe and the others before, the RX580 will have to die with Tahoe's demise.

I will then add the extra money to the price of a new Card and buy a real Mac, not really happy at the prospects  but that is the state of the Hack game at the moment.

 

Rumour has it Apple may include the use of the RX4xx to 5xx in a future Beta,

The decision I made, was for the reason that my RX 570 is given me pain in the head, sometimes it boots up my computer other times it freezes, I had this card for at least 4 years by now.

So it´s is a little bit slower for games in 4K resolution and I had one Logitech G920 Wheel with 6 Gears Shifter and a 3 pedal with clutch that I love to play some Forza MotorSport 7 and Asseto Corsa.

 

In the other hand, to develop knowledge in the process of Installing macOS Tahoe, is priceless but I had done a lot of things with Tahoe, using VBIOS and patching too as injection of EDID too with Clover.

The far as I can go was to boot up the system with Automatic Login an has a partially working system that not work Safari and most Apple apps resulting in a Black Screen.

 

Many thanks to all of you guys that tried to make RX 570/580 to work...

Help me find what changes are required in config file or minimal KEXT required to get RX580 working. Also Boot arg required.

I am on Sequoia 15.5 and all works, but in Tahoe, I am greeted with Hello Screen, language selection, black screen and loop of language selection, any help.

My friend, if you need to compare these OpenCore EFI, I managed to boot both, on Tahoe and on Sequoia 15.5 (without the OCLP kexts), but I believe you can also add support using the MinKernel / MaxKernel settings. I’ll post it here in case you want to compare (use the same OpenCore build) that I got from GitHub Actions.

@vamose Well then I'll say good morning to you, it's not a question of min/max kernel in your case the rx is not supported at the moment (maybe tomorrow with the new Beta) you have to remove it
You should only boot with the integrated one which in turn is not supported yours unless you patch it with OCLP, but the latter is not ready for Tahoe yet ... so either boot in vesa and I don't know if it works with terrible performance .... or you should wait

 

@eSaF  has a Haswell ,,, removed the rx ... game over

Thanks Mate. Had tried that with latest Bios as well and it failed but it seems with Bios 1801 it works every time. At least for now it works but still looking to maybe sell it and get the Gigabyte Top AI

Hi @vamose are you use Opencore Configurator ? 

You can change in Kernel Menu like exemple on print screen 

 

 

About your generation and another patches like discussion about RX 580 I recommend you try use Olarila basic EFI or contact @MaLd0n for professional EFI because im not advanced user, my friend. Sorry. 

 

And follow @eSaF and @Anto65 recommendations because this guys are connected with this tips!!

One important setting is in the BIOS, You must change the setting from PEG to IGP (dedicated graphics to integrated graphics) and save.

 

Remove the Display Cable or the HDMI Cable from your RX580 and plug it into the corresponding outlet from your CPU at the back of the p/c case.

Pay close attention to my Device Properties for UHD 630 Graphics in the config.plist, the Entry must be exact to prevent black screen.

 

Apart from that I don't think I have left anything out.

I ⚙️ Fixed my mobo in the MAC G5 enclosure, the mother board video outputs are not accessible. What should I do? If I select IGFX no output will be sent to RX580.

 

I can take out the cable for the boot and connect after few minutes to RX580, will it help?

Evolution:

I managed to close the installation on the NUC, a feat so far. I removed the SSD with Tahoe that was stuck on the language setting and put it in my X1 Tablet and finished the installation. I put the SSD back in the Nuc and tried to boot.

 

 

Obviously I started in vesa, at the moment this is the best I could do. Let's hope it's a Bug that tomorrow will not be present in the new Beta.

@Stefanalmare bro, there is too much info and hackintosh is too sensitive. All the hardware details need to be considered. I have been following the thread, but I still do not know if the only option is to boot with IGFX? If that's the case, I am doomed as I do not have access to the display port of the mobo.

 

If there is any ⚙️ Fix: for the RX580, would be happy to implement.
