For the record I disabled XhciPortLimit and it seems to have stopped the freezes. I'm old and stupid but also stubborn lol.

Waiting for Tahoe beta 2, hopefully next Tuesday. Let's see how the beta goes, especially on my Coffe Lake RX570 computers. I can get to the desktop, but after a while it goes to a black screen. This doesn't happen if I use a USB with the Intel UHD 630 graphics card as default. On the Hasweel computer with an RX560, I can't get to the desktop directly, it goes to a black screen. On both computers with the OpenCore 1.0.5 latest beta boot available with the latest beta kexts available and with the boot for -lilubetaall -alcbeta -wegbeta. On both computers, I had to do a combination to be able to install between iMac20.1 and macpro7.1. Has anyone managed to get to the desktop on an RX560? My computer details are below.

Here works very well  too Heliport with itlwm.kext from AX 211

image.png.23f1bac424892c62fe77cce702bf9a39.png

That's really amazing 👍. What a pity that I use Broadcom BCM94360CD instead. Would itlwm.kext however work with my X299 Sage 10G onboard WIFI controller?

Still facing some problems with the IntelLucy.kext. Sometimes I have LAN and internet, sometimes my X550-AT2 NICs won't connect although Vt-D is disabled and DisableIomapper and DisableIoMapperMapping kernel quirks are enabled. Mostly it works after toggling Vt-D on or off in the BIOS before each boot. Any further hints or instructions concerning the DMAR modding?

In your EFI-Folder there is also a LGUltraWide.kext for Monitor Apple ID injection. Would this kext also be mandatory for my LG 34WK95U-W?

Many thanks for any info or help in this direction.

The instructions are simple - you need to remove the Reserved Regions from this ACPI Table (if they are there). This should be done regardless of the presence or absence of problems in the system. Use SSDTTime Project: https://github.com/corpnewt/SSDTTime

Hi @KGP-iMacPro

Thanks 🙏🏻

LG kexts it’s not necessary. Jus get from Hackintool. My MOBO have intel AX211 integrated but not soldered, and I have BCM4360CD for desktop on PCIe slot. So I use Broadcom Bluetooth (but intel is better now 5.3) and use WiFi active from Heliport. My DMAR is not enable on ACPI folder but is enable in my BIOS. BTW my bios rom was updated yesterday!

*VT-d is enable on my BIOS

I tested my old HP usb Ethernet adapter and works native on Tahoe. Just fine and stable and I keep out and now works fine my Ethernet pcie devices. It’s an option.

Can I use the mapping of the USBs I use on the Sequoia or do I have to create a new mapping?
Can I do it using Hackintool?
Tks.

You can use the one you created on macOS Sequoia, i.e. the same Kext I used to install Tahoe, although currently I don't use any kexts and my USB ports work.

Hello, I'm new here. When I enable IOSkywalkFamily.kext in my config file, I get a kernel panic error. What do you think could be the reason?

dmar.aml successfully extracted with opencore -> dmar.aml successfully modified with SDTTime -> successful opencore implementation of modified dmar.aml.

Result: IntelLucy.kext now properly works after each boot. Many thanks for your kind help, @verdazil    👍

Remaining issues: loss of lan and bluetooth after each wake from sleep. Missing OCLP root patch for Broadcom BCM94360CD Wifi under Tahoe.

Maybe over the years they realised our Hacks are far superior and runs better than any Mac produced. :(

Hence the reason they have been trying their best to shut us out and now they have succeeded I'm afraid.

So are Silicon Macs actually a disappointment? Is that why Apple is trying to get us out of the picture? 😂

It works great when it does and worked better with Sequoia beta updates but not with Tahoe. I also noticed that my Studio started running very slowly recently. Maybe I need to claim on Apple care and try and get a M4 Studio - Hopefully they can do that swap

That is about it really even though at sometime or another, I will be forced into an Apple shop with the view of purchasing a machine.

Despite the difficult economic conditions of my country, I have thought about this as well. (I think I can buy an iPhone with my three-month retirement salary. Or a MacBookPro M4 with half of it.) However, a machine that will install updates without any problems is not for me. Discussing problems and solutions with friends from all around the world is more appealing. It makes you feel alive.

@eSaF my brother, im using iStats Menu 6 version. Working fine with new kexts from Dortania for Tahoe.

@Surenmunoo I  think you will like that new M4 Pro, its very powerfull and I have been used for Xcode, many tasks and works Awesome with Tahoe.

Intermediare model with 1 TB and 24 GB of RAM, very nice and so smart and compact.

Thunderbolt 4 or 5 is "another live" my friend if compares with USB-c or USB ports. I using my Hacks for loved this scenario and keep alive with my mind. But new Mac Mini m4 is real awesome, excellent product.

Apple get shot the target ! :thumbsup_anim:
