deeveedee Posted August 13, 2024 Share Posted August 13, 2024 (edited) Flawless upgrade of my HackBookPro6,2 from Sequoia Beta 5 -> Beta 6 using full USB installer. Booting with OC 1.0.1. Still not applying OCLP post-install patches, yet this old hack is amazingly responsive (more than enough to post this without issues using Safari). As with my HackMini8,1, EFI is accessible without any special tools in Sequoia Beta 6 on my HackBookPro6,2. To summarise for anyone else just joining; I had some trouble getting the sequoia-dev branch built, but I did find if you head to this page: https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/blob/main/SOURCE.md Copy the link on this line "For developers wishing to validate mainline changes, you may use this link: GUI (Graphical Based App)", change the part of the URL that says /main/ to /sequoia-development/ and it'll download the nightly on that branch. I did also find AMFIPass needs to be updated, which you can find in the github files if you search for it. Make sure it's enabled before applying root patches, as it'll fail AMFI and make you kernel panic if it's not enabled. Otherwise we're all set here, Fenvi WiFi lives another day.
