Take a look to mrmackintosh.com website. It seems Beta 6 link is not yet available.

Yup.  I just found out the hard way and reinstalled Beta 5 on my HackBookPro6,2.  For those who are curious, the upgrade of Beta 5 -> Beta 5 works perfectly.

Can you please give me the beta 6 link?

Flawless upgrade of my HackBookPro6,2 from Sequoia Beta 5 -> Beta 6 using full USB installer.  Booting with OC 1.0.1.  Still not applying OCLP post-install patches, yet this old hack is amazingly responsive (more than enough to post this without issues using Safari).

As with my HackMini8,1, EFI is accessible without any special tools in Sequoia Beta 6 on my HackBookPro6,2.

Yes exactly the same here. One thing I have noticed also is Auto Sleep which was broken on my machine is also fixed.

Good observations! I've learned my lessons the hard way about spending too much time fixing bugs in Alpha and Beta software. If there's an easy work-around, use the simple work-around and wait for the release to confirm that it needs to be fixed.

Eu realmente invejo aqueles que têm seus próprios nomes de modelo de CPU. Eu me sinto muito triste.😂

What boot loader are you have been using?

If is Clover, need run Opencore once time to fix Nvram CPU Name. If is Opencore need check Nvram live this:

You can use CorpNewT app to generate your own CPU name:

Correct installation on the OLD computer: see specifications below.

It has given me a headache, we can see all the tested compilations and their reason ERROR and No Unsuppoted Host OS,

I can assume that with beta 5 those who gave me No since these tests with beta 4 will work since compilation 1627 in beta 4 gave me ERROR

This is what I get for not following updates from insanelymac and instead only watching the OCLP github 🤭 I didn't know we had functioning WiFi for over a month now.

To summarise for anyone else just joining; I had some trouble getting the sequoia-dev branch built, but I did find if you head to this page: https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/blob/main/SOURCE.md

Copy the link on this line "For developers wishing to validate mainline changes, you may use this link: GUI (Graphical Based App)", change the part of the URL that says /main/ to /sequoia-development/ and it'll download the nightly on that branch.

I did also find AMFIPass needs to be updated, which you can find in the github files if you search for it. Make sure it's enabled before applying root patches, as it'll fail AMFI and make you kernel panic if it's not enabled.

Otherwise we're all set here, Fenvi WiFi lives another day.

Actually, the page you linked to is not the Sequoia-branch. That would be: https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/tree/sequoia-development

AMFI pass can be found in the "payloads" directory of the repo: https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/tree/main/payloads/Kexts/Acidanthera

Yeah, I didn't. Even on the sequoia-dev branch, the URL is still /main/. I think this is a bit of a secret.

But yeah, download the AMFIpass from the sequoia branch just in case.
