BTW, with Airport Brcm I get KP and not boot. By default yes, but if you apply the patches with OCLP it will work with the provided kexts and I don't even use BluetoolFixup.kext on Ventura or Sonoma. 1 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/356881-pre-release-macos-sonoma/page/47/#findComment-2808977 Share on other sites

I think it’s only needed when using Airport kexts not yet updated for Sonoma. All cards that needed before AirportBrcmFixup.kext, like injector or together with AirPortBrcmNIC_Injector.kext, need the same on Sonoma and boot-arg -lilubetaall. For all "native cards" in Ventura is no need for AirportBrcmFixup.kext w/wo plug-ins and boot-arg lilubetaall. This happen because AirportBrcmFixup.kext is not yet upgraded to support Sonoma. In my case, after compiled my own kexts and use OC 0.9.4 compiled too, with Xcode, not used boot-args anymore. Just for my RX 6900 XT. PoMpIs
Hi Those of you who have patched the system for the Broadcom 4360 when the updates come out you get the complete update (12Gb) right? It's just that I'm hesitating between patching the system on my desktop computer to have AirDrop or directly removing Fenvi and forgetting to patch the system with OCLP 🤔 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/356881-pre-release-macos-sonoma/page/47/#findComment-2809037 Share on other sites

Once complete and logged back in OCLP should pop up saying it's not patched. Just run again and reboot and WiFi will be up and running again. 2 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/356881-pre-release-macos-sonoma/page/47/#findComment-2809039 Share on other sites

Skyfallkavu
After 2-3 days use I'm shocked at how stable Wi-Fi/Continuity has been. They did a wonderful job with this patch, can't believe they want to even better this approach later on. Also loving Sonoma, all the new animations feel so smooth, and like I said earlier, 10b RGB colour has been fantastic. Just sad Music.app is broken in this latest beta, at least for me. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/356881-pre-release-macos-sonoma/page/47/#findComment-2809070 Share on other sites

cankiulascmnfye
@Blesh OCLP is for Macs, not Hacks. So you have to so some stuff manually: https://github.com/5T33Z0/OC-Little-Translated/tree/main/10_Kexts_Loading_Sequence_Examples#example-10-enabling-legacy-broadcom-wifi-cards-in-macos-14 Edited July 28, 2023 by cankiulascmnfye 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/356881-pre-release-macos-sonoma/page/47/#findComment-2809081 Share on other sites
