Have you got a previous config.plist from the previous so that you can do a comparison to make sure nothing nefarious has attached it self to the display settings to change the outcome? I am using the same config 0.9.0 that is use with Monterey and Ventura 13.2 and 13.3a. As a result, I had a problem that I couldn't understand. Just to add to this the black screen occurs when the “second stage” should occur and it stays black for quite some time then it works.
