I have similar, I gave up. I've done almost everything.

There are no errors in the 10.14.6 and 10.15.3 systems.

A lot of people write that this error cannot be removed:

https://github.com/acidanthera/bugtracker/issues/762

So why do I have this problem in 10.15.4:

You do the excess sizes. Use icnspack utility from OpenCore.

BootProtect=None - does nothing. Find your mistake in other.

Hi guys,

Was wondering if I have to do anything special to boot Windows off of a separate disk as I have Win 10 on a raid and Catalina off of a separate Nvme disk. Clover never had an issue but as I understand there acpi issues?

Thanks

I don't think its his mistake. I have this issue with last commits too, but its present only in RELEASE version of OC, in DEBUG its OK.

With the introduction of BootProtect, the windows built by BlessOverride- \ EFI \ Microsoft \ Boot \ bootmgfw.efi disappeared from the boot menu. OpenCore compiled before BootProtect has been using BlessOverride- \ EFI \ Microsoft \ Boot \ bootmgfw.efi very well.
OpenCore and windows boot are not in the same efi partition (ScanPolicy = 0) and can be displayed in the boot menu.Thank you acidanthera for your efforts

I just noticed that my hack immediately restarts when I try to use search in Finder.

Doesn't make any difference if I use BLT or wired keyboard, when I go to the search bar click into it all ok.

But as son as I hit the first letter... black screen and restart !

Keyboards work flawless in any other application though !

Anyone experiencing the same ?

@Andrey1970

do you know? how to setup correctly

my windows partition dispeared from boot menu

i attached my config

I'm on 5.8 and have a Windows boot partition listed but after selecting it it goes straight to 'Preparing Automatic Repair' + blue screens right after. Possibly a noob configuration error on my part. Anyone know?

That's normal (without lots of preparations to be able to boot Windows from Official OC).

Read Section 12.1 of the config guide.

Be warned it's not easy to get Windows to boot.

If you want it easier, see n-d-f-k's fork of OC (Customised OC) which allows you to bypass OC's ACPI modifications and SMBIOS settings.

Hi everyone. Can someone upload working Efi folder for hp probook 6470b?
i5 3gen.

Hi,

Did you manage to boot HP Probook 6470b with Opencore? I only see EFI disks at bootpicker, trying to boot HP4540s, so i'am stuck, not seeing MacOS disk.

And this Opencore flash disk i use works with HP1012 X2 G1.

Why don't you just delete Misc->Security->BootProtect entry in the config.plist.

Also while you are at it, delete :

Misc->Entries->1 (there's nothing the Configuration.pdf that tells you to put an Entry like that)
