You wrote "Ventura 22A38" while it is 380. Zero missing.

Thanks @Slicefor noticing, but well in fact I did not wrote anything about,

all info are automatically taken from catalog, don't know why that one is truncated it shouldn't be..

I'll have to look at the script in there, to figure out why..

The only thing I specified there is the name of the OS, all the rest will be auto updated conforming to Apple catalog changes.

New Update 1.8c

-- Modified makeusb tool

Apparently the script added to last makeusb version need some improvements

as I noticed a curious behaviour in how OS build reference number is being displayed on different OS's.

so for the time being,

As result i preferred

- A little rollback: removed OS build reference

now it is as it was on previous release, then

-- Modified usb creation stage

- Added, different options to format your Device for usb creation

Update to v1.8d

- Update Clover Suite builder module

  Online Documentation refreshed

- Updated makeusb module, (Create OS Install)
Due to current catalog used, it may occur that some
releases will be displayed as Beta when in reality
  are Release Candidate
When this occur, a warning will alert you, and since
it will be an actual release, if you already have the same
file into Application, will be renamed.

Otherwise the full process will get you the installer.app as usual

Hi @Slice

Before with Clover r5146, I have 5146 EFI_IVY /EFI/CLOVER at the bottom right of Clover GUI. Now with Clover 5151, I have only 5151 /EFICLOVER. I don't undestand why volume EFI has disappeared !

try this

/usr/bin/osascript -e 'tell application "System Events" to get unix id of every process whose name = "Clover Suite Builder"'

(supposing the resulting value is 477)

kill -9 477

it should kill the menu and let you trash the app.

can you tell me what's your terminal specs? because i find very curious it gives no screen,

even if you where using zsh should have no problem running it.. just a few glitches maybe due to the interpreter

but what you are experiencing is totally out of my understanding.

You can try xattr -d -r -s com.apple.quarantine /Clover Suite Builder.app

see if it solves

Btw

I'm also unable to build with Xcode 14.3

Thanks, it is that I wanted to ask. Yes, it solves.

But I see exactly same result as with buildme script.

I also want to say that clean screen is not a good idea. I want to see log.

At Apple's forum recommended to switch back to CLI 14.2.

When you make package does it create an installer to help automate the entire process, I am Legacy Boot and I cannot install using FDISK440 it won't let me install to /usr/bin read only in Ventura.

I know way back there use to be Clover installers its been a few years I am on Opencore so wanted to try Clover on this older Laptop Asus G51JX with i7-720M Processor and Nvidia GTS 330M.  Will use the Opencore patcher (OCLP) once I can boot into MacOS Ventura.

This Laptop is non UEFI so I need to install Legacy Boot.  All of this use to be part of the original Clover installer I thought?   When you choose from your menu to make pkg where does it install this if its the zip file it creates in SYM that to me is not a PKG or PKG installer.

Edited:

Looked over PKG log it was never created to log said to run this 'xcodebuild -runFirstLaunch' then run the option 4 to build PKG I found it now in SYM sorry for the confusion!!
