    Customized OpenCore with additional features

Well maybe i'm going to make a few more try, anyway it does'nt really matter, was just a test to the ndkbootpicker on OC, but i'll probably return to plain text what's really important is the bootloader working as it should...

Thanks @Slice for your explanation, but that was the usual behaviour i've always experienced after clearing nvram, (press F11 and the loader restart) My question was essentially due to another circumstance, as i'm still in clover, i've been also, as many others, testing OC from a usb device, and every time i restart the machine (booting from clover) it keeps the same arguments used in OC. Hence my question about the clear nvram thing...

Hi guys, need your advice on this... i just witnessed a curious thing, on clover 5103, ( it was a long time since i used resetnvram) but trying to do so, pressing F11 did nothing at all... don't think its normal behaviour now not restart clover after pressing the key, what could be the trouble? thx

Probably you should also trash the cloverinstaller.plist, which is where it stores all your previous installs and consequently their path/structure... Same plist that keep track and let you see what kexts were previously installed (check-marked) ... maybe? (i guess, but i might be wrong)

yes but my concern was, another... It does, the job if "you" build it, and since a long time, i made a tool to compile and install altogether, so it really doesn't in my case... or eventually to do so, i should insert that part of code directly into my tool, i''see thanks for the input.

Well point is ... doing so, no need anymore to get that package, just build shell from UDK directly... as stated above the patch causing troubles is inside hii-database.diff then, just remove that

That is true if building cloning opencoreshellpkg into UDK but if you just clone opencoreshellpkg and use ./macbuild.tool (apparently) patches are loaded automatically... this what the command gives when using macbuild ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ran 280 tests in 3.922s OK error: patch failed: MdeModulePkg/Library/UefiHiiServicesLib/UefiHiiServicesLib.c:85 error: MdeModulePkg/Library/UefiHiiServicesLib/UefiHiiServicesLib.c: patch does not apply error: patch failed: MdeModulePkg/Universal/HiiDatabaseDxe/ConfigRouting.c:4869 error: MdeModulePkg/Universal/HiiDatabaseDxe/ConfigRouting.c: patch does not apply i

Not my business and totally oft, but if I may, I would advise you to stay away from nasm 2.15 (RC) as at the moment is still very Unstable and not really suggested for stable releases

Hi everyone, it is just me ? ( my machine does funny things lately ) or someone else trying to build latest OC, noticed something probably is conflicting into OCSupportpkg as Applesupportpkg now fails to build error related to OcCpuLib not found in OCdebugloglib by VerifyMsrE2

"hackintosh for all or for specialists" Hackintosh as any other Hack can't be for all. ca va sans dire, or for better understandig i'll say, all for hackintosh, and means just what i already said above, first of all you must learn, its the basic rule to do anything in the living world (not only here) You said " That's because I understand Chris's post. If it takes days...." I don't remeber learning to speak took me little time... but now i can speak 5 languages, the same goes for walking an so on.... to enter this world without any knowledge and pretending to get through with no hassle is fantasy you probably just forgot the very early days of clover... it was similar for all coming from Chameleon... it took time and patience, then appeared different tools to simplify... the tasks What in my opinion fails to be understood here, is OC is still a work in progress and ofc so is its documentation, many things may vary from a day to another when all this work will finally reach its final stages, maybe we'll also see some automation till then the only way is to learn, and it may take days ok but then you'll surely know how to get throug it and possibly also been able to help others and also share your knowledge a Configurator and a Builder... have already been made and still some aren't yet happy
  22. Please read carefully my answer You'r not using 'buildme' that error is only given by cloverbuild.command since it still have it stored into 3rd party drivers.... to avoid it USE 'buildme' <-- find it (and Double click on it, you'll see the magic ) or edit the command and unlink the repository Find https://github.com/acidanthera/AptioFixPkg Replace https://github.com/acidanthera/AptioFixPkg
  23. @camillionario You already have one... its called buildme present into clover since a little while now src/edk2/Clover/buildme <------
