I'm forced to update from Mojave to Catalina cause I need Sidecar for a project. 

I reinstalled my system about 4-5 weeks ago with your EFI.

Can I just update? Or do I have to completly reinstall via USB Stick etc.?

 

And if so, do you know how to prevent iLok from thinking I'm using a new machine?

It took me quite a while to reset all activations for my plugins...

Yes you can just update but make sure you move over to the latest clover EFI before you do so or it won’t work.

Other then that it should be painless. 

And yes for sure add me via steam and let’s go kick some rocket league butt...lol

Nothing at all it will work as per normal.

the internal usb connection only works for windows and it’s cam software, other then that and once you have set your curves and colours if any it all sticks.

Hi, I don't understand anything anymore. lol! ! I deleted the RGBforce profile and put the last WEG used like at begining. And Touc Touc! The screen now lights up, and even I can switch it to 120Hz without any problems. Wtf! I do not understand. .. lol. Perhaps this is due to the new HDR function in the graphics option. I dont know.
Now the Half White Login still exist, which was not there until I traffic the RGB profile ... what are you doing there! https://imgur.com/a/vCvMLRy. lol. I go search for it.

If you deleted the profile and selected a normal colour profile again then the white screen at login isn’t connected to it but more a coincidence If you ask me.

I would run some tests via windows on your gpu just to make sure it’s ok?

im sure it is but sounds like you have a gremlin running a muck in your system somewhere.

Not on Amazon. Looks like you can buy it from England on eBay but the cost along with shipping would be almost $100 US. Not worth that I'd think. Not when you can get the Fenvi card for $50.

Try it on a USB key and find out....

 

No in all seriousness Its missing patches and ssdts That Catalina no longer needs but Mojave does and to many refinements have been done by me and Texem now for 10.15 up. We have already tested the theory to if it will work or not and it was a massive fail.

i could in theory make it backwards compatible again but it would come with a cost of putting stuff in there that’s not needed and I don’t really like the thought of that to be honest but hey if you want me too I can have a stab at making a 10.14 version just for you. Not now though I’m having a day off from sitting behind me hack today as I’ve been battered with supporting people for the last 4 or 5 days now.

im iPad only but I’m still here and talking just not doing anything...,lol

 

P.s NDK OC will work with Mojave

HeHe I get that yes no worries but yes your kinda right it is a case of putting things like ssdt ec and re spoofing RTC and patching sata0 but I would have to also reconfigure the quirks too and as just like with clover I have OC purring like a little kitten with Cat (pun intended) so I really don’t want to take it backwards for that very reason. 
 

Again I don’t mind making you a version if you ever decide you wanna try it one day?

Beta 0.5.8 is half baked now and cooking up a treat so maybe when that comes out il revisit the idea and see.

You asked! Granted, several of these including Quicken 2007, Suitcase 6, and Picasa are not needed! And this list is down from over 70 that I started to pare down. But others like Media Rage and Art Directors toolkit are helpful.

 

I also have read a lot of bad about Catalina and it's stability.

I don’t know if you have noticed but with every new version of MacOS people say the same things about stability and compatibility...lol....Why don’t you do a test boot and find out using a spare drive if you have one and see what happens?

 

Catalina is super stable no matter what {censored} people say, sure it doesn’t like old software but unless it’s windows or Linux that’s always gonna be the case really. You know what Apple are like. (Fleeces)

I'm running 10.14.6 "under" Catalina using Parallels Desktop 15 perfectly. It's not that GFX performance but it helps to get some 32bit apps keeping alive.

You running a overclock by any chance on the cpu or ram?

if so turn it off and try again.

i ask because last night I did a huge massive render for somebody using premiere and my system was pushed to the max for around 2 and a half hours and it fine and looking at your log it seems the cpu chucked a massive wobbly and that’s what got me asking about overclocking.
