@kernel_void You all good now pal?

Let me know as I want to flip over to windows so I can go play some rocket league but I’m waiting for you to be sorted first as that’s the kinda guy I am... :hysterical:

Hmm I forgot to come back in 144 hz, I did it and I have my black screen ... If i restart my main in 60 hz I have black screen after password, and I have to plug the native 60 hz screen to have dual screen working. If i unplug the other screen, my main become black. fak. I sure its depends of herts. I will try to find.
Apple seems to be the problem. .... maybe with new update there are more problem than before with radeon VII ...
Or maybe I fixed it somewhere, because I do something to make the radeon work well.

Is VegaTab necessary in your build? Did you fix the plist or should I do it?

did you check the colour pallet like I told you too?

9 out of 10 that’s the problem.

@AudioGod I did some tests, I am using your bios configuration with CFG / MSR unlocked and your config.plist and the following problems arise: If I set that after 15 minutes the PC goes to sleep when it goes if I reactivate it crashes and restarts I don't understand what it can depend on since this configuration works very well for most people. Thanks for your help

Correction, if your using the same board and following the rules of parts then it will work for everybody.

what I’m trying say is there is no problem with the EFI here pal.

we are not talking about 10 or 20 people using my EFIs with success we are talking about 1000s of users using my EFIs and I’m talking about the ones posted from this month only.

with that in mind I get the odd person with a problem and every single time once the dust has settled and it all gets sorted out it’s always the same thing and never a fault from my files but a mistake from the user.

Im not being big headed or anything like that I’m just being real brother and that’s the facts.

Thank you in fact everything is perfect, except the sleep that I think is due to enabling the trim is possible? It's my mistake :(

Remembering, in fact, before the enabling of the trim on my SSD, the sleep / awake seemed to work very well

@AudioGod

Reading around it seems that formatting an SSD in APFS does not need TRIM enabling, so my doubt is the following. Can enabling the latter cause sleep / awake problems? Thanks so much

why don’t you start again and do a nice clean install.

if your already fully setup then do a time machine backup first just remember to disable trim before you back up so it’s not there when it restores.

timemachine is a dam impressive backup and restore utility as always give you back a nice clean system.

just a thought but maybe it’s not 10.15.4 that’s the culprit maybe it’s WEG.

try rolling whatevergreen back by one revision and see if it fixes it for you buddy?

I totally didn’t understand what you said then buddy.
if the RGB Force isn’t right you can turn it back off just by deselecting it in the colour profiles.

Other than that stupid Fenvi 919, what other options are there for this board? I've heard there's nothing to replace the CNVi module with right?

Is it pretty much the Fenvi or pick up a real broadcom card from a real Mac and slap that into an adapter?

ABWB 802.11AC WI-FI With Bluetooth 4.0 PCI-Express (PCI-E) BCM94360CS2 Combo Card For Hackintosh (MAC OS X) Airport Computers, Supports Hands-off https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00MBP25UK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_MFGPEb01CGQ8A

This is by far the best combo card without doing it yourself by a long shot buddy. :)

@Tiem There is an option yes but it’s older WiFi so not the greatest but it does work as a direct replacement for the board. I took a shot of it for you as I have a few knocking around here.

Or maybe one day this kext project will actually work and then we are laughing.

Oh man I just realized I posted in the wrong thread, thank you for redirecting me to the correct one. My dvd burner is working. It wasn't recognized in system hardware under disc burning, but it is now! Thank you AudioGod!! This hackintosh should last my dad about 5 years. I'll see you then! :w00t:

Tomorow i will try on an other 144 hz screen or I will back to 10.15.3, it's not WEG. It's come from RgB force. There is some comments in github asking for 144 hz support; My question is if it will be on this screen or the original problem persist with other screen. I will see tomorrow.

Also I have a bug since I used your build 4 months ago it still exists now. When I start and arrive on clover boot loader and choose Macos, sometime apple logo, the bar start charging and stop to return to bootloader clover. there is no logical, It is works every time but sometime i have to comeback 3 time on bootloader, and sometime there isnot any problem at all to start macos.

@AudioGod I have reinstalled Catalina twice with the same EFI and using only hackintool to fix the power section and to clean the cache, ssd formatted in APFS. When it goes to sleep it freezes and when I click on a USB device it wakes up but starts from the bios screen. I really don't understand the reason, the motherboard is unlocked and all the parameters are correct since I use your configuration. For precision I will load the complete configuration, I hope in your help. Thanks so much

If force RGB has made things worst then just remove it. It’s simple as pie to turn off or remove all together.

im not sure I understand what you mean about your failed random boots sorry bud.

you referring to allocation failures????

Yes me and you both mate and it sure would be cool if it actually worked...lol

its getting closer as the kext enables the card and you can see all the networks around you but you can’t connect to anything yet if ever. We can only hope for the best. :)

well without RGBforce my screen dont work, so its better now but I havent 144 hz anymore and white login problem. but anyway I will have an idea tomorrow trying an other screen. dont worry.

I reffering about that. 3 cycles to boot are the worst i can do. sometimes everything can be ok during some days, and boot perfectly and sometimes not. I never really tryed to fix it. I changed some boot arg but nothing changed.

Unfortunately you can’t buy that ABWB card in the US.
