It must be corsair specific really. I have the NZXT Kraken X62 plugged in the internal usb and never encountered any issues. Pure luck.

no it seems to be a strictly Corsair thing although there may be other things that do it but I’m yet to see it.

MacOS does not like anything made by Corsair connected via the internal usb hub.
It’s a constant trouble maker for a lot of people.

searching the net I found this here:

as I'm using Opencore I haven't tested it, because this solution was made for the clover.

I can’t stand that patch, Glasgood used to use it, I’m part of the remove the usb internal connection crew.

Check your power settings in hackintool and correct if need be and then use this if your not already

@ nelio33 - proper port mapping will sort that problem for you.

Yes there’s also that aswell unless your using my clover EFI and then it’s irrelevant.

I'm trying to find info on this and whether it would work. Seems like a simple (?) fix for pro WiFi boards. Probably not worth the trouble :D

EDIT:
Hmm, it looks like the CNVi slot is not even compatible with M.2 Type E card so you can not just plug a replacement card in that slot. :thumbsdown_anim:

Try moving it to a different slot on the board.

the lowest two pcie slots are the best two too use.

i tried all pcie slots and i face same issue. When i click sleep it goes to sleep for 2-3 mins (all rgb lights and fans are off) and all fans start again without waking screen. When i remove usb power cord for adapter sleeps work fine.

On my machine i have everything working even sidecar wirelessly and netflix on safari and thanks to audiogod and this wonderful people on this thread but only sleep dosent function properly. IF THAT WORKS I WILL HAVE 100% working hackintosh.

Have you checked your power settings in hackintool are correct and repair them if they are not?

if not then do so buddy.

Also again using hackintool repair your permissions and rebuild your cache then restart and at the bootpicker reset your nvram (F11 if using clover)

Hi, i always have the same fault
before the update to catalina the sleep function worked correctly on mojave.

I did without result:

corsair patch use
reset bios parameter
use F12d profile
pcie port change
correction of parameters by hackintool
creation of a kext usb with hackintool

when using the sleep i have instant wake, the card is BCM943602CS.

if i remove the cable from usb header sleep work fine

an idea ? thanks

I use the exact same combo card as you and sleep isn’t as issue.

this is certainly not caused by the EFI unfortunately so my advise is the same advise to you that I gave to last person I replied to about this.

check your power in hackintoool, repair permissions and rebuild your cache. Use airportfixup.kext, clear your nvram.

@nelio33 What EFI are you using and from date? If your using one of my EFIs have you changed the usb mapping on it or are you running with my mapping?

@nikhil96widhani Can you fill in your signature with your system spec please so I know what your using parts wise?

i use your EFI, for usb i use this guide : https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/the-new-beginners-guide-to-usb-port-configuration.286553/

I don't know if what I did was to map the usb or not...

@nelio33 Could you post your EFI up for me to look at for you please buddy?

yes, thanks.

@nelio33 oh bro I see what problem is straight away. My Clover EFI is pre setup via a DSDT and SSDT to give you native USB from out of the box. You do not need any of the extra SSDTS you are using or any extra kexts so lets start again for you and the EFI.

Please Use this EFI im sending you and do nothing to it other then put it in your EFI Partition and try it.

I have done everything for you brother.

Let me know if its all perfect now? Should Be. :)

@nelio33 I didn't know if you have your MSR unlocked or not so I left KernelPM Enabled. Disable it (Untick it) if you have your MSR Unlocked (If your using my Bios Profile). :thumbsup_anim:

@nikhil96widhani Could you also post your EFI filled in for me to look at and correct if need be for you?

Did you use my EFI without adding anything what so ever?

you just dropped it into your Efi partition and restarted and cleared your nvram at the boot picker?

@nelio33 https://github.com/acidanthera/BrcmPatchRAM

Read the instructions on the front page so you do it correctly.

@nelio33 Here I done it for you, Drop these kexts into your kext folder in the efi and restart and tell me if that fixes it for you?
