Hello! I recently managed to install OS X on my Acer Aspire VX 15 but I don't have QE/CI. On about this Mac it shows that I have 1.5GB of VRAM, but it's not working correctly.... What can I do? Also, it is working only the external display, not the internal display of the laptop... I attached you my config.plist:

Tried it, I have 1.5GB on About Mac, but it's still working very bad and I can't also change my brightness

nVidia web driver for macOS High Sierra is not available yet, although there was a patched version for macOS Sierra was released by guys in the forum which didn't work on my rig. You might find it useful.

 

But for having a fully functional nVidia GPU we need to wait for the nVidia to release a version for macOS High Sierra 

post your EFI folder and remove Apple folder if it's present in the EFI folder.

You can download nVidia WebDriver for your 1080 GPU here: https://images.nvidia.com/mac/pkg/378/WebDriver-378.05.05.15f01.pkg and give it a try.

If it works you won't need intelHD630 anymore.

 

set your GPU to discreet in BIOS

In your config.plist make the following adjustments add nvda_drv=1 under boot section if needed, remove kext-dev-mode=1

In System Parameters add NvidiaWeb and let me know if it works.

 

Update: if your GPU is Optimus it's not supported by macOS so you can't use it so you'll need to keep the nv_disable=1 flag.

In your config.plist make the following adjustments add nvda_drv=1 under boot section if needed, remove kext-dev-mode=1

In System Parameters add NvidiaWeb and let me know if it works.

 

Update: if your GPU is Optimus it's not supported by macOS so you can't use it so you'll need to keep the nv_disable=1 flag.

Is it, I have 1050 TI...So yeah, I should wait more..also, can you help me please with HD630? It still doesn t work
