Apple appears to have pulled the publicly accessible Mac OS 10.4.8 Source Code (Darwin, the open-source foundation of OS X, and XNU, Darwin's open-source kernel), leaving only developers with ADC log-ins with access to the code (public link,ADC link)

people do realize how easy it is to get an ADC account right? its free and you can put in a bunch of wrong info if you are paranoid...

yeah, they really didn't do much to stop people that are really determined to get it.

("NOOO!! i have to fill out a form!?")

Yeah, all of Apple's source releases under the APSL have required ADC membership (agreeing to the APSL terms is part of the registration process).

Also, there would be no point downloading the source without having an ADC membership, because you need a login to download XCode.

I would not called it "paranoid", but rather "smart".

Next thing you know, people will complain that the phone company has your name and THEY KNOW YOUR PHONE NUMBER!!!!

Seriously, all this {censored} about phoning home and all the paranoia is just getting ridiculous.
