spakk
Sorry Spakk, what versionof VoodooHDA do i have to use for my audio? Is there a link you can give me to download the correct version...i used VoodooHDA on Yosemite, but i don't remember what version http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/297207-voodoohda-285-for-mavericks-slice-anv-signed/ ...but as already written, it is useful to use an OS X compatible USB soundcard. because AppleHDA will probably not work with the internal sound card, and VoodooHDA, is a matter of taste. see for example here: http://geizhals.eu/?cat=sndusb&sort=p OS X Compatible: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro, SBX Pro Studio, USB is (€ 39,99) http://geizhals.eu/creative-sound-blaster-x-fi-surround-5-1-pro-70sb109500007-a1274277.html
Kaya80
In yosemite the only problem i had was that i've to disable C1E from BIOS, because of audio stuttering....but everything worked good, then, it's not a problem to use Voodoo, if it works ooooooooooooook, the audio is working with 2.8.5 Mavericks installer from the post of link above no lag with C1E on auto in bios settings, but i have problem when i try to play 1080p youtube video, very laggy, no problem on 720p
Kaya80
Sorry Spakk, i recently apply USB Fix V3 on 2nd hdd after update, but i've to add this command on secondary sudo chown root:admin /, but if i had to rebuild in secondary HDD named 10.11 Clone? what command? sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel sudo kextcache -system-caches" As i'm starting still from the first, how to point that command on secondary HDD, how to select 2nd hdd on terminal? During boot i read a verbose line with invalid opcode error....maybe for this reason
spakk
Probably the VoodooHDA caused the problems, follow this download link and install the new update (VoodooHDA 2.8.8)http://www.osx86.net/files/file/1194-voodoohda-288-pkg-installer/https://sourceforge.net/projects/voodoohda/files/ Edit: if it should not be fixed the problem, then fix with Disk Warrior, then you should be able to boot.
