This is equivalent to a soft reset, and I never said this should be an habitual practice. Was good to reset the preferences but there are other cached files saved here and there in the OS for each apps. So is not surprisiling if after that something is weird.  Please don't use it any more unless there are things I suspected are related with the preferences of the app.

Is good in mojave or is that in older OSes?

I have launched that line command to see if previous bug was solved (no settings opened or similar)

To answer to your question I am using High Sierra (17G3025)

some more infos

Since last night I've installed El Capitan, Sierra, High Sierra + the existing Mojave.

High Sierra have a little problem showing the disclosure triangle when in the outline something is selected (... El Capitan works better), but on those OSes everything is satisfactory, try.

Todo: fix indentaion for the disclosure triagle (larger first column)

HWSensors-3_r184_v5t.dmg

The best theme is the last "With Grid, clear background" imho.

I have seen a strange things on preferences window

first open it is light transparent  it seems there is a gradient

if I deselect it and reselect it become without transparency background gradient

but it is not a problem.. :)

it is a different problem..but it is a no problem

quick fix: HWMonitorSMC2.app_v6t.zip, but I have to retry in each OSes before Mojave to see if the result is the same.

P.S. fixed indentation of the disclosure triangles in the first column.

Just for info you should set the max frequency in turbo boost in the Preferences (*MHz:). Just to have the correct max value for the relative graph (the only purpose).

What am I missing that I am not seeing the CPU frequency for each core?

So core-frequencies cannot show up

So for individual core frequencies to show up, it requires FakeSMC + IntelCPUMonitor. Got it thanks. Guess I'll have to be happy with not seeing individual cores freqs then. I am really liking VirtualSMC over FakeSMC.
