jcruzlara
Any one know of a good conversion utility for the iPod, I just got my 5G ipod today and its so much better than my old shuffle. But i've been having a hard time trying to find a free way to convert my dvix/avi videos to work on my ipod anyone know of a good one? i do have quicktime pro but it didn't work for me and it took way too long to convert some videos (started it left came back 20 minutes later and it was at 4 percent, 1.4ghz comp though) thank you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28849-free-ipod-video-conversion-utility/ Share on other sites
Dr. Evil
not sure exactly what apps are available on OS X to do this, but if you have a windows installation or even parallels desktop there is a ton of win32 software to do it, most of it costs but of course there are many keygens available if you don't have an issue with that kind of thing. A friend of mine uses ImToo video converter for ipod video conversion on windows... SamK
Handbrake is really good in OSX but I had problems with the Windows version. I was using Imtoo DVD ripper in Windows but now do it all in OSX with Handbrake if it's a DVD or FFmpegx if it's an avi/mpg Sam.
