Clover had issues with HWTarget before the last update. Maybe HWTarget is bypassed for now and that's why you won't see updates.

Yes, you are right. I updated applying MSBIOS iMac17,1 and I see no update with SMBIOS iMacPro1,1.

This is the issue that I should somehow resolve.

As far as System Updates are concerned: since SMBIOS iMac20,2 requires HWTarget to work, I will wait until the next System Update is rolled out and check if I get notified about it when using Clover and report back.

iMac17,1 reminds me of something.

I think the iMac 17,1 was used to upgrade the Monterey Beta 7 (21A5522h).

ExtendedFirmwareFeatures came out then ...

iMac 17,1 is a mysterious code.

First off, thanks Slice for you quick revision of Clover to make Ventura Beta 3 boot.

 

Now, a nagging problem that I cannot seem to resolve.  I cannot get HEVC hardware acceleration using Clover but I do get it using OC.

 

Compare these screenshots:

Here's my config.plist.  I would appreciate it if someone could take a look and see if there is anything you see that I could change to resolve this issue. Thanks.

@mnfesq I make a test on my HP Elitebook 840 G4 without any /Graphics/ Device / Property

Clover inject the Graphics with Inject Intel=true Sherlocks work on this about 2 years

see result ( I am not setting up Wifi , Audio and Bluethoot, Battery this is first boot Clover on that Laptop)

Clover is amazing 

You can try with A USB without any /Graphics/ Device / Property

Thanks 🙂 what's that it means and what are consequences. Usually, Github repo and local repo gives the same commit number for Clover and OpencorePKG sub-module.

Do you think my Local repo on the other hand is good !

I had no problem with CloverBootloader  (local repo) update from 7ffc6f39 to 8920835b.

Above CLOVERX64.efi commit 8920835b XCODE8 build.

Thanks @Slice Right, the workflow is created by Github. I don't have any problems to build, but I'm not sure that the OpencorePKG sub-module uses the right commit (Local repo).

I'm talking about commit number for OpencorePKG sub-module (and description)  into CloverHackyColor/CloverBootloader (GitHub repo). There is another number commit (and description) into CloverBootloader/OpencorePKG Github repo. See my previous post. Please.

Sorry for my bad English. It's difficult to explain to you what I means.

It seems that you can't go if you pull the submodule at once.
It's strange, but it seems that you should pull the main and then the submodule.
