:( sad

Your best bet is to list all of your system specs, vendor IDs etc, as much info as you can, then search for each individual component on google to see if they are compatible with hackintosh, only then will you know what is, and what is not compatible.

cpu

graphics

ethernet

wifi

Those components would be a good start to look up :)

No, I'm using clover now.

That possibly explains why your update was straight forward just like my elite book, Im using clover to patch AICPUPM Apple RTC and ApplHDA, so didn't have to patch anything on mine, but I imagine something will need doing when using chameleon.

You installed the UEFI bios now then?

A UEFI boot bios for N5110 can be downloaded from here: http://goo.gl/bhEZti

Don't mirror my file. Give a link to my page.

Guide:

1. Flash the bios (MAIN+NVRAM)
2. Copy efi/boot/bootx64.efi on a FAT32 stick
3. Reboot and press F12 for boot menu

Here it's a Clover installation to play: http://www.sendspace.com/file/v2o0ot

Hidden menus are not available at the moment.

please help, anyone know how to flash .rom bios file?

He hasn't posted full unlocked BIOS yet... he just unlocked UEFI portion for you.

Based on your screenshots your BIOS is detecting that you have /EFI/BOOT/BOOTX64.efi file on your Kingston USB drive and when you select this UEFI: entry from Boot Manager it actually starts UEFI. So UEFI is working for you ..

Use kext wizard to install your kext, then use the same program to rebuild cache, and repair permissions.

No, download this http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3867-ikext-mavericks-kext-installer/

Drag the kext onto it, wait till it finishes and restart.

As for graphics, do you have the DSDT in ACPI/patched?

PS. Does this UEFI BIOS have the Dell logo on boot or just a  black screen?

i try with ikext but not work :( maybe there is a conflict with something?

i am a beginner so i don't know where's the ACPI/patched but i follow this guide and use the DSDT from the guide so i assume that the DSDT is in ACPI/patched

and UEFI Bios just show black screen

On the OS X partition, go to EFI > ACPI > patched. Do you have a DSDT.aml there?

Are you usign the kext I uploaded? The one from rehabman's site does NOT work with our touchpad.
