I need to use MacBook installation discs, but I don't want to mess anything up involving drivers and that. Lkr Posted August 19, 2006 Share Posted August 19, 2006 the iMac uses a ATi x1600 while the Macbook uses the GMA 950 might be the only difference. If they are both Intel based, it should work but I'm not 100% sure. You can actually mod an image of OEM DVDs to work with your iMac.
