Hi MaLd0n,

 

I like the work you're doing with this thread. DSDT Auto Patcher is a great application.

May I kindly ask you to assist me with the below DSDT for Asus P5KPL-AM/PS.

I patched the original DSDT using your patcher and I would like to point me to the P and C states section in the attached DSDT. I want to be sure there are no P and C states sections in this DSDT cause I plan to use the Chameleon's automatic P and C generation.

When trying to run DSDT Auto-patcher for GA P35-DS3L got following Error:

Line 2071 type Error message Object is not accessible from this scope (ATT3)

 

if you have already patched DSDT

will not work

you need the original

and apply the DSDT Auto-Patcher

have a Gigabyte P35-DS3 rev 2.1, Intel Q6600 Core2Quad 2,4GHz, Nvidia 8600GTS 512MB

i am totally noob, anyone help me?

my problem is:

have no sound

fresh install with BlackOsx guide and with http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...222316&st=0

my retail install dvd is 10.6.3, i am update up to 10.6.4

If you want to send me information about your system so I can make an auto-patcher for it, please download and run the attached "run_me" script and attach the "send_me.zip" file it creates on your desktop. The included data is your DSDT, a list of loaded kexts, an ioreg dump and the kernel log. If you want to see the commands it runs, just open the script with "Automator".

The DSDT is ready for the power management

add in boot.list

Generate P and C states

and then check the terminal

 

ioreg -lw0 | grep PerformanceStateArray

ioreg -lw0 | grep CSTInfo

 

Please find attached

you need the original DSDT

extract by Windows or Linux

and then apply the Auto-Patcher

i am finally downloaden ur DSDT from kexts.com and sound works, all see ok. but still no works DSDT patcher :D

 

atm 10.6.5 and i am happy. Thanks for ur fast answer and thanks all for this cool forum

Just reporting an error and hoping for a fix:

 

Gigabyte GA G31M-ES2L (REV 2) <- probably important

 

extracted using autopatcher and applied patches and got this error

Extracted the DSDT using DSDT Editor and attempted patches - same error.

Sorry for the newbie question, but I don´t know much of DSDT, If i get a DSDT especific for my laptop I could install Snow Leopard retail with empire efi or easy efi? This is the first step, the second is how to get my especific DSDT, I can do it from windows?

before, with BlackOsx DSDT (from install kit) no sound.. on 10.6.3, 10.6.4 i am use LegacyHDA with LegacyPrefpanel.. cant update up to 10.6.5 - still Kernel panic..

 

after that i am tryin find some guide for my motherboard directly.. and find ur guide, Mald0n. but i still "use old files" - for EP45, ofc wrong.. i rly have no idea how this DSDT works and how prepare, ofc i read more topic here about DSDT, but still no lucky..

Yesterday i found on kexts.com DSDT directly for P35-DS3 (yours) and with that got sound (internal speaker, no more panel) and can update up to 10.6.5

I dont use SleepEnabler - no install him on fresh install atm, everything except sleep works fine (restart, ShutDown, sound, 8600GTS, World of Warcraft ;))

but while i am start auto patcher, for prepare my "own" DSDT still got errors :)

 

as i sad before, have rly no idea how this works, but want to know :)

 

i am instaled first 10.5.6 Leo year ago, and from this time have OS X on PC, on netbook (S10e Lenovo - works all except ethernet, using USB ethernet, sometimesw trouble with sleep after 10.6.5), and now tryin install on Asus 1001PX

.

i am rly like OS X :)

Here is my send_me. I have extracted it in Hazard distro 10.6.0, but I want to install retail in my hp 4520, so I need the DSDT...Without you I couldn´t do it, I don´t know about DSDT

extract from Windows or Linux

 

or

 

remove what you are using, reboot and apply the Auto-Patcher(Mac)

DSDT generated using P5Bdeluxe WIFI really perfect for my machine (look at signature) with snow 10.6.4 (sleep, reboot, shutdown), I have upgraded to 10.6.5 and now I have an annoying problem with sleep: PC go in sleep but the fans keep spinning and moreover PC does not awake and I have to switch off the PC with the power button.

 

Attached the perfetct dsdt for 10.6.4 generated by the wonderful "DSDT patcher"

 

Any idea for 10.6.5??

 

PS I don't know if it's an useful information but during the boot with -v flag, the unique strange item (for a noob like me) is the follow:

 

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - waitForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out

Qual seriam os fixes e patchs para esta placa?

maLd0n.. mate i need your help again! this time with gigabyte mobo.. same chipset! i dont know how to fix these kind of warning error "WMA bla..bla..." could you take a look mate..

 

one more thing... this mobo has onboard graphic controller (ati 3200) i have turned off the onboard and prefer to use ext ati 4670 but its seems that mac osx doesnt know how to handle with these cards.. using chameleon bootloader rc5 all devices detected... but when entered osx my monitor blank..

 

sorry off topic but could it be this because dsdt that still using those 2 graphic cards... hell i dont know what's wrong :P ..

any suggestion?

nevermind its not DSDT.. heheh bootloader fault.. i didnt know that theres special bootloader for ati.

Hi Maldon,

 

Great work, looks like you're helping a lot of people out.

 

Could you take a look at the DSDT for my Samsung R480 notebook? I've made some patches, and included both the original and patched DSDT. Sleep is the main thing I have been unable to fix.
