I see from your signature you have a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4. I have the GA-EP35-DS4. Do you have C states working on your mobo and if so what method?

Nice word man, I've a Philco 10002, actually a very good netbook. It´s running 10.6.0. Could you apply the DSDT fix, below the zip files (DSDT, IOREG, Kernellog, kextstat).

yep

 

but my display or graphics card doesn't wakes up from sleep.

 

I also have a similar problem

must use the second DVI

works like a charm

I do not know if your problem is the same

I don't have key PciRoot and string 1 in my com.apple.Boot.plist. I wonder if that would make the difference or not as to why CSTinfo is not in my IOREG?

 

This makes no sense I have the exact same Chameleon and the GA-EP45-UD3P auto patched. Yours is however a P35 chipset and mine is a P45 chipset could that be why?

 

LPC is loaded. I can't think of any other reason why CSTinfo is missing from IOreg?

PciRoot is not related to CSTInfo. Are you using GenerateCStates? Run bdmesg to check if it's working.

 

I had a similar problem after 10.6.5 update, missing CSTInfo in ioreg and high CPU temps, even with _CST in DSDT or using GenerateCStates. I did a clean install in other partition, updated via combo and all worked fine, then I installed 10.6.5 combo over my old install (updated via SU) and it fixed the CSTInfo problem.

Yes running both generate C and P states. I am on 10.6.4. I will check bdmesg.

 

I wonder if anyone else with this board or similar board has the same issue. Anyone with the Gigabyte P45 chipset MB I would like to hear from.

Patch HDEF is not in your DSDT, use VoodooHda

For the D830 everything works great except shutdown just a minor error. USB Disk Removal Error is also an issue with this Dell and has never been able to be fixed

 

 

Changed

Hi, I see you experts add some extra in to the DSDT file ;)

 

But Should I also create a SSDT file ? in dropdown there are plenty different selection... :D

 

I have attached some files, so if someone can add the necessary Fixes and Hacks and changing in my system files to get my system running as the best it can, Then I would be so pleased :) ( I think I'm a noob)
