Just use 10.4.5 .... maybe he'll reappear for Leopard if it turns out to be difficult (fun) to crack. I'm assuming he does it for the pure satisfaction of doing it. Personally, I wouldn't mind paying the man (or woman, do we even know?). Nevertheless, I'm more than greatful for his contribution so far, and should he ever decide to stop, I'd applaud him for a job well done. That said, I think he's working on an official 10.4.6 solution as we speak.
