Nickh
I installed Office:Mac 2004 and it works without problems. Sure, it's not universal yet, so Rosetta is kinda slowing it down, but on my laptop it works without problems. Colonel
you can't download Office for Mac unless it is with a BT. You can download Office for Mac test drive though for 30 days. You can go out and buy Office for Mac for $499. And yes, Office runs well under Rosetta. fireshark
According to apple, the kinds of appz good for rosetta are such as office, those that require heavy user interaction but little or no cpu, and the kind of appz are the kind that have little or no interaction but have a heavy cpu load, such as raytracers. jbjonas
Or just get Toast. Mac program for burning kinda like Nero. Once you install it, you can right click on your .dmg and choose open with - Toast to open it for burning to CD or DVD! Chrysaor
Installed MS Office 2004 w/ SP2 yesterday. It runs incredibly fast, way much faster than i expected, even though it uses Rosetta. Used to use OpenOffice 2.0 M155 (unibin), it crawls compared to MS Office 2004.
