Ouch
Why would you want a picture of a muderer on your desktop? He tortured and executed hundreds of people in Cuban prisons (some children) and was arguably worse than saddam hussien - nobody has posters of him on their walls. Seems very odd to me. geo2002
Ernesto Guevara de la Serna (June 14, 1928[›] – October 9, 1967), commonly known as Che Guevara or el Che, was an Argentine-born Marxist revolutionary, politician, and Cuban guerrilla leader. ampTK
Yeah, that Che Guevara... A freedom fighter if I remember correctly... If your definition of freedom is the kind of freedom offered by Castro in cuba. Where you are supposedly free form "the imperialist menace" and free of the "evil hand of capitalism". But where you are also free of any civil rights and human rights, property is not even a dream, kids are adoctrinated in schools, religion was prohibited until recently, don't you dare to speak bad of the government, not even in your own house, because your own child will tell the government and you will likely en up in jail (and jail there means torture, lack of food and water, and fair trial is unheard of). You can only eat and have what the government gives you, and that's barley enough to stay live. All the media is controlled by the state, and presidential elections (they do happened) have only one candidate, Fidel Castro. Freedom and more equanity is somthing all goverments should work for, but that doesn't mean to make everyne equally poor and starving (exempt goverment officals they can be extremely rich), and make everyone a prisoner in their own country. u1m2
guys/gals, this is no place to debate political issues so keep your ignorance to yourselves if you can and if you don't like the wallpaper just don't use it. if you wish you can post a wp of Hitler or even G(ay)W Bush, if people like them and decide to use them, it's their choice(foolishness) so respect people's idiocy. Sabr
Well, it seems pretty apparent that this guy wasn't a very nice one, to put it simply... My definiton of freedom is most definately not the kind of freedom offered by Castro. Hey, I got something wrong (in my opinion anyway). I'll admit that... All I can say is thank you for telling what he really was like guys/gals, this is no place to debate political issues so keep your ignorance to yourselves if you can and if you don't like the wallpaper just don't use it. if you wish you can post a wp of Hitler or even G(ay)W Bush, if people like them and decide to use them, it's their choice(foolishness) so respect people's idiocy. I like the way you're telling us to respect other people's views, and there you are writing "{censored}" and "Foolishness"...
ampTK
guys/gals, this is no place to debate political issues so keep your ignorance to yourselves if you can and if you don't like the wallpaper just don't use it. if you wish you can post a wp of Hitler or even G(ay)W Bush, if people like them and decide to use them, it's their choice(foolishness) so respect people's idiocy. Is not ignorance, is a different point of view. (I could arguably say that what you think is a sing of ignorance but i don't) but you're right, I don't like it so I won't use it, just like I won't use one with Hitler or Bush (or Castro, Chavez, Pinochet, or Bin laden, or any other with extreme points of view, no matter if left or right, and/or tries to impose his views to others) since I don't condone what they stand for. PS:I'm sorry for the previous rant. SABR it's ok if you didn't know (it wasn't against you), but don't take my word for granted, get your hands on the most independent source you can find, read from different points of view and make your own. u1m2
I am sorry I got carried away people, I just don't like political debates of this kind since all people do is shout out what they believe in and don't bother to read what other people say about the matter anyway. I guess I like to be hypocritical when it suits me just like anyone else, so bare with me ok? Still, I think it is foolish to use a wp of Hitler or gwb since imho these people mean very little to many people around the world (i.e. they are insignificant bugs) unlike Che, who inspired people not only from central and south america but people from far east, europe and all over the world. So I guess I should have made it clearer in my first post that I am pro Che and people should take their bs elsewhere rather than flame someone for creating a wallpaper that people like me will be pleased to use. MacSpaces
He parted from castro because he felt betrayed (read the letter he sent castro when he left cuba)..his whole revolutionary view was socialism and obviously castro had other ideas-2 diffrent persons with diffrent views. Of course cubans will hate him and argentinians adore him-again 2 diffrent views.. this wallpaper will be used by some and not used by others wich falls back into DIFFRENT VIEWS....overall he was murdered by the c.i.a taking orders from high ranks to excute him because of his involment in the revolution that left united states grabing for cuba and their little pirce they mainted when batista was in power...why do you think u.s and cuba dont get along? do you actually believe teh reason behind it is to free cuba? more like the united states is pissed they dont have their hands on cuba when they have their hands all over the western hemisphere there goes that little bussiness. this in blue will rock aqua blue to match the apple them overall i love it
xtraa
Hi, don't believe the hypes. Afaik he killed only about 1% of what GWB would be responsible for. But che Guevara did it for his own land and in his homeland. But he is a commie, and in the U.S., where Cohiba-Cigarres are forbidden and stuff like that, they have a very err... 'own' picture of him. This is like in the UDSSR, they had such propaganda there, too. Afaik the CIA shot him, I dont know why, must have something to do with politics, money and the council on foreign relations. jm2c, no offend, I like the U.S. but i also like to view both sides of the coin. And this is a nice wallpaper. I would not call him a mass murder, that would be way too much.
