Synaesthesia
(courtroom murmurs) Jesus what balls! I've never seen balls of this magnitude...this...they must have specially fitted uniform, in which to place these large testicles... Hagar
http://psystar.com/open_computer_updates.html interesting page.. I'm in two minds as to whether this might be a useful resource for us, or whether these "Open Computing Updates" are in fact relabelled hacks from here or other parts of this community. Whilst I personally don't see the difference between them using community developed solutions and anybody else doing so (if this is in fact the case) Credit to the creators/developers etc should be given. If in fact these are their own hacks, then they are providing a net benefit back to the community.. The question is.... Which is it? I can almost guarantee that's where their "updates" are coming from. Sleazy bastards. I wonder is we have any lawyers among us who could help the people who write the software here to come up with a eula to include with their software? Something to the effect of this software is only for free, personal, non commercial use. That way if Psystar gets caught (comment your code, folks) they can be sued by the individuals who wrote the code. The thing that I hate about these Psystar a-holes is they could hurt the whole community by causing Apple to do more to thwart hacking osx to run on PC hardware. I doubt they care about a bunch of hobbyists, but they do care about people making money off of it. vaporATX
use EULA from netkas.org, it pretty fine forbids commercials usage, kthx Have you taken any legal action against them? Might be a good idea to do it before they can afford a coven of lawyers. Hagar
I found this... Now I'm confused. if what this guy says is right then surely it's the APSL thats the relevant licence, not netkas' EULA... Who's right? mifki
unfortunately netkas's EULA doesnt have any legal pull behind it, it is the APSL that is the relevant license that applies to the modified boot sources.
