Anyone make a hacked version of 9.2.2 yet that'll work with old Pentium 4/Celeron D boxes yet?

Motherboard: Intel D946GZIS
Processor: Intel Core2Duo 4300 1.8Ghz
Graphics Card: ATI HD 2600 PRO 512MB
RAM: 1GB DDR2
Kernel Version: Darwin 9.1.0
Boot: Normal (MBR)
I used Kalyway's 10.5.1 DVD and didn't check the original vanilla Kernel options. The only things I checked in the install was NATIT_ATI Driver and the MBR option. I haven't installed the kalyway kernel update and wasn't sure if I should. I just started using mac recently because I got pretty much tired of microsoft's BS so I'm not really sure about somethings about updates and kernels. Well anyway I'm not sure if I should go ahead by installing the kernel update and the mac updates. Is my setup ready for this? Thank you for your help.

There was a patch that went from 10.5.1 to 10.5.2 specifically designed by Kaly. It was pretty painless, as far as I remember, it's what I'm running at the moment. I think you can find it at The Bay. Hope that helps.

As of yesterday every patch worked fine for me.
For patching I was using: "OliU (c't Offline-Update für Mac OS X) 1.5"
Afaik there is no general public release of it yet but c't provided it on a "mac special". http://www.heise.de/...ecial/ct/08/03/
The former one for 10.4 can be found here: http://www.heise.de/...os_x_10.4/43654
Afaik both are german only.
Nevertheless the proggy is quite easy. I've just choosen the release # and the for me appropriate plattform then hit "make an image".
It wget's all patches from the apple.server (atm 'bout 3GB for intel^10.5) and makes a dmg image of it.
Then one can decide what patch is gonna be applied and which one ain't.
All current patches, as of yesterday, worked for me on the above mentioned hardware setup.
If you like this info then great. If not, then feel free to > /dev/null
Thx
