  1. 10.6.7 Update released

ATI 4850 went broken and give me a weird screen. GA-p55a-UD3
  2. I have no luck with this in SL in IDE mode only AHCI works on my GA-P35-DS4.
  3. Is it possible without ahci with the ga-p35-ds4 mobo ? I always get waiting for root device. Here is some data from lspci 00:1f.2 IDE interface: Intel Corporation 82801IR/IO/IH (ICH9R/DO/DH) 4 port SATA IDE Controller (rev 02) -> 8086:2920 (rev 02) 00:1f.3 SMBus: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) SMBus Controller (rev 02) -> 8086:2930 (rev 02) 00:1f.5 IDE interface: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) 2 port SATA IDE Controller (rev 02) -> 8086:2926 (rev 02) Hope someone can help me. grtz
  4. New 9.2.2 ToH kernel

I found a link on the bay with a new toh 9.2.2 kernel. I tested it on my hackintosh and it works. Just search for it (9.2.2 kernel). I hope it's a toh release at least it's marked that way. Greetings
  5. [SU] New Software updates

Works fine here except a had to replace my kernel back to netkas's 9.2.0. Bacuase I had to push the reset button to restart or the power button to shutdown. It just stays waiting at the line mach reboot or mach shutdown.
  6. Question about PC EFI

One thing isn't clear for me do you need an EFI board for netkas pcefi ? (Mine is an GA-P35-DS4 => BIOS board) I can boot it with grub. But I want it without grub because every time I have to enter the drive (like 80 or 81). When I do it like this: cd /Volumes/123/pc_efi_v8 ./startupfiletool /dev/rdiskXsY ./boot_v8y dd if=./guid/boot1h of=/dev/rdiskXsY bs=512 count=1 dd if=./guid/boot0 of=/dev/diskX bs=400 count=1 It doesn't do anything just a blinkin cursur and the hd led that keeps lighting up (this is booting from HD without grub). My parition list is as follows disk1s0 GUID disk1s1 EFI disk1s2 HFS+ journalled So the rdiskXsY is disk1s2 And What's about the gfx string ? Does it mean it reconize my 2600XT (min is a saphire 2600xt 5212MB) ? Because I applied it in com.apple.boot.plist and I still need the -x option to boot for the first time. Else I get an crappy image with weird pixels. After installen the radeon drivers from netkas it works fine. But whats the point now of the gfx string if I still need the drivers ? Sorry for all my questions maybe they are already somewhere answered on this forum but I didn't found it yet. Also I want to say thnx to all the people who made it possible to bring a mac to everybodies home :-). Greetz
