Pu7o
Ok, here's an universal binary of xchat aqua 0.15.2. It has at least two bugs (on intel only, it's fine on ppc): If you remove the metal interface, it'll be there again when you restart xchat aqua. If you turn on "Indent nicknames", all the text will be pushed into the far corner. Since Indent nicknames is usually enabled automatically, I changed the default. However if you've ran the older 0.15.0 build, you might still have that enabled. If you do, go disable it manually in the preferences! Enjoy! wesley
It doesn't seem to load for me. I starts then simply terminates. 10.4.3 8f1111a. I deleted the preference files folder, too. Still no go. Interestingly, same thing happened when I tried 0.15.0 Intel binary with 0.15.1 PPC preference files still in place, but after deleting the files it worked. Strange... Pu7o
Oops... my fault. Here's a fixed build, with ALL the referred bugs fixed as well (the problem: It had gotten linked with libraries in /opt/local/lib): http://falcao.homelinux.org/~puto/xcaqua-unibin.dmg
hibbleton
awesome! works in 10.4.4 build 8G1165
wesley
The indent nick option still doesn't work, but otherwise it's good.
Pu7o
It works fine with me, as long as you drag it to the right place.
hibbleton
there are a few quirks. for example, after i close a tab, i can not re-open it. also, none of my preferences are being saved. running great other than that, though
paulicat
It seems to only have the option to open links in Opera?? And tab coloring (when new message arrives) is not working right (tab stays colored at all times)
Takuro
I can't seem to get it to work. What do you mean "drag into the right place."? Do you have to download the ppc xchat and then move some files from this .dmg into it? Crash Log: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libglib-2.0.0.dylib Referenced from: /Applications/X-Chat Aqua/X-Chat Aqua.app/Contents/MacOS/X-Chat Aqua Reason: image not found EDIT: Nevermind. I downloaded the wrong one. You should update the url to the .dmg in your first post to save people confusion.
Pu7o
I mean, drag the invisible slider which should be near the left corner of the xchat window into the place where you want the nicknames to end and the words to begin. I don't think it matters anyway.
Travis.
hmmm plugins don't load: dlopen(/Users/Travis/Documents/IRC/Plugins/python.so, 10): no suitable image found. Did find: /Users/Travis/Documents/IRC/Plugins/python.so: mach-o, but wrong architecture but it is WAYYYY faster then rosetta.
jbjonas
Thank you! this is great!! only issue here, is that certain preferences won't take. The one that drives me nuts, is trying to turn off spellchecking. I uncheck it, hit apply and ok, and if I open preferences again, it's still checked. Really a minor thing, but the UniBin is awesome... Thanks again!!

jbjonas
Ok, this unibin build has been so useful to me, that I have put it up at an alternate site for you all to download. The xcaqua-unibin.dmg can be found here.

Even the scripts/plugins included with the release. Has anyone else tried any plugins/scripts out? logic551
Hi. Works fine, but when i add a chan in the server list which requires a password - after adding a space between the chan and p/w and clicking done - the chan and p/w get joined up as 1 word so it'd try and join #chanpassword instead of #chan...any ideas? I followed the notes on the faq here: http://www.xchat.org/faq/#q22 Thx

Teddy Hwang
Just a small bug. URL links don't work and does not open a new window in my default browser (Safari). Otherwise, great build; much faster than running a PPC on Rosetta.

GeeksHaveFeelings
Just wondering, where did you get the source, Pu7o? The xchat module in xchataqua CVS is for plain X-Chat, the one that needs X11.app. It's not the source for X-Chat Aqua.
