Mac will run windows and windows will run mac. And they both have the same intel core dual 2 processor on board. Same components same resource using.....

So i guess in the future there will be no apple Mackbook nor the pro. Because people just will not need it....

FUN :hysterical:

Anybody tried to install Fedora6 (ZOD) on VMWare Fusion?
No matter what type of OS I choose, it freezes my entire system during boot from CD and ISO. :dev:

Install Fedora within Windows or within Linux then use your image disk in Fusion.

Its surprising some user can install it perfectly while others get kernel panic. I've tried using an older version (ie 33141) it installs perfect but when i try to make a vm it just displays a white blank screen. the lastest version is a no go since it gives kernel panic. Anybody knows any solution to the kernel panic issue in the installation?

White Blank Screen means you don't have Quartz Extreme enabled.

The vmmon .kext is very important to vmware as it is used for virtualization heavily, as it is also the same on a linux system. That is definitely a kernel issue since vmmon is a module of the kernel on a linux system.

You don't need to download from torrent sites since it is available for general public, it is a public Beta

Really, I don't think that VMWare Fusion is all that "cool" just because it has some 3D acceleration.
Fusion is extremely limited in the 3D acceleration area since all of the important stuff isn't accelerated anyways
(taken from: http://www.vmware.co...d_audience.html Yes, I know that says VMWare Workstation 5.5, but they're probably using the same technology in both).
It's a step, yes, but it's definitely not anything that'll be extremely useful for any serious gamer.

Any one managed to install Vmware Fusion beta2 with the serial number from vmware website?
I tried several times but it says invalid serial.

I second that. No real gaming in any virtualization app yet! We just have to keep waiting

Yeah, I did, and it is the same SN of the beta1, when I installed the beta2 it already took the SN from the previous installation.

Did you check the VMware forums?
