RehabMan
2bad0 built a mavericks compatible version of VoodooPS2Controller.kext with RehabMan's Code for ProBook! All function keys are now working perfectly and the touchpad-feeling is mutch better. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/91-voodoops2-109-only/ FYI. I fixed the issue with Mavs just a moment ago (I just installed DP4 Mavs today). It is available in the normal place: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Voodoo-PS2-Controller
RehabMan
... atleeit - patched IO80211Family.kext ... FYI. No reason to use patched IO80211Family.kext. Vanilla Atheros40 works just fine with slightly tweaked DSDT patches. See my recent change (to AR9285 patch) at the normal place: https://github.com/RehabMan/HP-ProBook-4x30s-DSDT-Patch

I tested your new VoodooPS2Controller.kext and will add it to probook10.9 V5.1. In addition to this I will delete the patched IO80211Family.kext. Are the new Atheros40 patches integrated in the DSDT`s of the latest ProbookInstaller (for those who have not patched their DSDT themselves)? That change is not in the latest ProBook Installer since I just made the change yesterday... It will take a bit of time before philip_petev grabs the changes and makes a new installer. You can, of course, apply the patch using MaciASL with my repo. Anyone advanced enough to be running Mavs knows how to do this (after all, they are a 'paid account' Apple developer, right?)

RehabMan
I wonder if the blinking issue was fixed too in Probook installer version 6.1.2. i have dp4 installed It has not. For now, just don't install blinkscreen. I have it fixed locally, but I'm going to push the source to github, now that it is more than a one-off. It is a simple timing issue. If you know where I posted the original source (links to that site are not allowed here, I don't think...), you can change it yourself. Just change the time between off/on to 200ms instead of the originally published 100ms, or use ryman's patched version (which uses 1000ms between off/on). It is available in the normal place: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Voodoo-PS2-Controller When I'm scrolling using two fingers, lets say on a webpage, if i stop scrolling but still hold my two fingers on the trackpad, the webpage starts jiggling up a down, not by much. But enough for it to be annoying. This don't happen in 10.8.x, not sure if anyone else has noticed that/had that issue?

And it is not specifc to Safari as it also happens in Chrome. I guess Apple has removed some filtering they used to do in IOHIPointing base class (or some other layer of the input system). If Apple doesn't fix it, I'll have to filter out (throw away) small movements inside the driver. We'll see what happens...

Philip Petev
New AppleHDA and AICPM for DP7 are added to ProBook.zip Which patches do you use to patch all these files?
RehabMan
Which patches do you use to patch all these files? Probably done by hand using the various AICPM patch and applehda patch + manual replacement of *.xml.zlib + manual editing of HDAHardwareConfig.plist, etc. I have my own scripts (as you know), but distributing the patched kexts is against the NDA agreement for DP builds. I expect that some people here are getting DP builds not from Apple, but from torrents, so they may not have agreed to such an NDA...
