    Thinkpad T430 - Mavericks 10.9.x - Yosemite 10.10

Hi, eilatuno, just as you suggested, i bought an express wifi card "WEC600N", but if i plugin it before i start my laptop, then the it will causes the Kernel Panic "Unable to find driver for this platform ACPI ...../IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1590 ." but if i plugin it before the laptop already booted at the Clover, then everything works fine... Have you ever met that? is there any Solution? Thanks in advance

Are you using the final release of Yosemite? my AppleHDAIDT can't be loaded and the latest Kext Utility doesn't work for me, but the latest Kext Wizard does!

seems the DummyKext for AppleHDA doesn't work for Yosemite, does anyone have solution probably?
  6. yeah both of them are loaded. now the effects are on, but with some kind of lags. e.g. when i call out the Mission Control, it's not that smoothly as that HD4000 should behave.
  7. AGPM is already loaded, i'm using MacBook Pro 9.2, which is suitable for my laptop i think
  8. i've injected the ig-platform-id in DSDT, which is "0x03, 0x00, 0x66,0x01". the graphic card can be fully driven with full effects and 1024MB VRAM, but when i play some films as well as youtube videos, lags appear. it seems to be only 10 FPS. does anyone have ideas? Thanks in advance!

thanks bro, did you meet such kind of problem: if the laptop get sleeping, then wake up and reboot, the laptop will stuck at the initial of GUI... i should force the laptop to shutdown by pressing the power button, then the it become normal again... seems there're problems with sleep. PS: i didn't use all your stuffs, because there's problem with the graphic card. the GUI is much larger as the resolution, as the screen is exploded...

why couldn't the battery of my device be natively recognised by ACPIBatteryManager? have you done some kind of DSDT patches for Battery? and i'm also curious how did you rename all the "VID" to "IGPU"? the patches of Rehabman don't work for me... and in additional, which patches did you do to your DSDT? only the ig-platform-id in graphic part and the layout-id in HDEF?
  11. hi gygabyte666, how did you make Turbo work? i generated a SSDT.aml with ssdtprgen.sh and also set the Turbo frequency, but Turbo still doesn't work. how did you make that work?
  12. yeah exactly, but my DSDT has no \_PTS Method, therefore the second part of this patch is not matched
  13. tried several times, but it doesn't work for me. and i found that there's no such kind of log information about "CPU halted" when the computer can't be shut down.
  14. using the shutdownfix in clover doesn't work for me, i've already tried before. what do you mean of the "messing with the resetvalue and resetaddress"? you mean injecting the USB id in the dsdt? i also tried that, or using GenericXHCI, the shutdown problem still remains
  15. Hi all, first of all, my specs: Acer V5-573g, i5-4200U + Intel 8 Series. i'm using Clover+ KernelPM(XCPM). at first i got the shutdown issue, so i applied the patch below to fix it: Before _PTS: OperationRegion (PMRS, SystemIO, 0x1830, One) Field (PMRS, ByteAcc, NoLock, Preserve) { , 4, SLPE, 1 } In _PTS: then the laptop can shutdown/restart successfully in most cases. but after several days, i found that the laptop can't shutdown/restart after long time running when i set the "energy saver": display never turns off(and also never sleep), then after several hours, if i click the shutdown button, the laptop can't shut down.(normally it can) what's stranger is that when i click the restart button, but the laptop shut down actually(but it seems to be not really same as the normal shutdown, it takes a little bit more time)... and if the laptop runs for a several hours and go to sleep automatically, then it can't be woke up from the sleep state, yeah sleep to death... there's no such kind of log information about "CPU halted" when the computer can't be shut down. I would really appreciate if anyone has some ideas and advices of the problems and tell me what i should do! Thanks in advance!
