After reading about how this Notebook is very popular as it is able to run iAtkos so well... I decided on trying it for myself. I have the HP Probook 4530s i5 model. I was able to install iAtkos ML2 beta 5 without any boot flags successfully from USB, no problems. However I can't seem to boot into the OS. Here's a screenshot after using -v I haven't used tonymacx86's method to install this either, since I don't currently have access to a Mac to set up the USB. So instead I used a different method from here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/288795-guide-creating-os-x-usb-installer-using-a-windows-pc-only/ I'm not sure if that will actually effect the result. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, folks! Update: The latest ProBook Installer by philip_petev supports Mavericks unofficially (with the settings for 10.8). Just download and install it on your Probook 4x30s or 4x40x. Hi everybody, I have found patched dsdt for hp 4530s, but as far as I know I shouldn't use it couse each DSDT is different even on the same model of PC, yup? If it was true, could anybody try to patch my dsdt? (it has been generated with universal autopatcher, will totally clean dsdt from windows be better?) DSDT.dsl.zip
Hi to all! I have a probook 4530s running Lion 10.7.3. The only issue that i have is that my fan is always on. What i've tried: Disabling "Fan Always On AC Power" Updated to latest Bios F.20 -------------------------------------------------- My fan always spins at lower RPM even if computer is idle (all user processes off). From what i understood the fan will stop if it stays 35C for about 3 minutes, but mine never drops 38C. I see many users with this issue, only one person has his CPU to 28C, but has no ideea why it drops so low. I tried contacting HP support but the gave me no answear. I think the only way to resolve this issue is by modifying DSDT to modify 35C to 50C or higher. I didn't manage to find where to modify fan speed or thermal zone in my DSDT. Maybe one of you can point me in the right direction. I will attach my DSDT for you to have a look. Thank You All!
