Works great with OS X Yosemite.

Install this realtec driver and works like a charm, did I mention it was cheap price.

Here is the chipset this card uses RTL8192SU

Download and install the mac driver to make this usb wifi stick work here.

Match up with the number above when looking for the right one. :)

Bing you have wifi, and for the last time, the price is right :)

If i knew it before... I used to have a Ralink-something that even has official drivers for Mountain Lion, yet it sucked big time with every mac or hack i tested it with: sometimes, it took a couple of hours to get a valid IP. Now i have an OOB TP-Link WDN 4800 PCI-e card for my main hack, but it's good to know there's a legit USB option.

All the best!

Thanks for the feedback. Yea, the hack world has come a long way since when I first started with my Hacks. I currently have two hacks, one's a server and the other one is my main hack. They are awesome and stable. They are perfect except I have never been able to get sleep working. It will go to sleep just when it comes out of sleep it stays dark. I have tried changing the hibernation mode in terminal still no success. Tried sleep enabler too, yet nothing seems to work. If I could get that working my Hack would be Perfect! Oh well.

Yea I love the hacks far better than that whats its name again.... Windows?

I got everything on my hack laptop apart from Wifi and optimus (I could only get the HD4000 working not the nvidia 630M however im not complaining since I can play Skyrim on max with no issues at all the HD4000 is not THAT bad I suppose if you happen to find something that it CANNOT play a simple dual boot solves that problem).

Sleep works fine.

I haven't managed to upgrade to 10.8.3 yet though however I probably don't need to worry about that for quite some time (considering some people are still using snow lepoard).

By time I need to worry about upgrading I'm sure there is better solutions.

Hum, as a owner of one these Usb Wifi sticks it works great idd, IF you dont plan to use for 802.1x networks (eduroam) the card may support it but the wireless utility provided for mac is really limited in the security option so if you want one that works with any kind of wireless networks dont go for this one besides that it works good.

Its been a while since I updated this post so here we go.

I updated my system to Yosemite two days ago. I have been using this Wifi USB Stick for a couple of years now. I updated to Yosemite with my set up with no problem. I am using the installer of 10.8.

You can't go wrong with this for the money. Anyway, hope this helps.

I'm having trouble with a link one adapter; whenever it's plugged the computer won't shut off.

Have you experienced anything similar with this one? Don't want to buy it and regret it.

This has worked great for me for years. I have never got sleep to work on my current board, I have two of these boards. I am considering updating to the new boards, I think that will get sleep working once and for all but as far as the wifi adapter its worked great.
