Because there's no better way to measure our degree of success than seeing what the numbers say. Well, maybe not: real life user experience cannot be reduced to numbers only, but surely they matter.

Post here your results. Let's show our fellow Intel hackintoshers how good an AMD machine can be!

This one is not mine, but from Gilles:

Amazing, Gilles: you're almost catching up with my i5 3570K.

Here's my Athlon II X2 250 with Bronzovka's 10.7.4 Hybrid 32/64-bit kernel:

Gilles, my i5 rig consistently scores more than 11.000 in Geekbench at stock clock, as you can see for yourself here: http://www.insanelym...ttach_id=120036

Anyway, it's wonderful to see the first gen. Bulldozer achieving these impressive results. I think you can break the 11.000 barrier indeed. When you run GB, make sure Spotlight indexing is not running.

Oswaldini, unfortunately i cannot overclock, since my mobo is a H77-DS3H (paradoxically, my BIOS offer the option, that's crazy). I think you could achieve even higher scores with 10.8.2 (10.8.3 beta clearly lowered mine) and UEFI Clover boot.

Best regards!

I'm using CLOVER in UEFI mode :) Mine i5-3570K is unstable while running higher than 4.5GHz. I get 13535 with 4.5GHz by each core.

gils83, you should work with your hackintosh harder ! You shoudn't use smbios for MacPro3.1. I bet you don't get proper power management. I get over 11k score in GB at stock with proper PM.

hello , :)

I think you're right, the measured values are wrong in my opinion, the processor remains icy after a battery of tests which is not normal in my opinion, the motherboard In addition to a max TDP of 95 W and a frequency of 4.9 ghtz, I must greatly exceed the 125 w.
I think it should be a synthetic test and physical processor is 3.3 ghz, I'll do a test to see if 5.5 ghz Clover is not a chimera of all these results.

I confirm distorts the Clover, the figures true or false??

FX 6100 is 4.02 and the test cinebench 7500 Geekbench test

Do you have two overclocked hacks, chokoboster?

By the way, we use the same wallpaper. In fact, i use it in all my hacks and even recently i started to use it with Windows too. Great desktop background.

Gilles, i trust Cinebench way more than i trust Geekbench. But Geekbench became quite the standard for end user performance benchmarks, so that's the reason i choose it over any other tool for our topic.
