    Hello there, i need help!

Hello there, i'm Andrea, a new member. I got this problem and i hope to get some help from people who know better than me. I currently work on a Mac Pro, late 2014, the black cylinder, and I'm moving to a hackintosh by september. I do have a time machine backup, and first question is, can i start my new hackintosh from a backup? Moreover, i use my mac in a studio, we produce music, and we bought all plugins and libraries, so nothing crack'd, will the new mackintosh requires all the activation codes? I will be installing Yosemite on the hackintosh, is it the right choice? i've never had any problems on my original mac with this OS. Will I have some drivers problems, having a firewire external audio device, a midi keyboard, and 2 HD i use for backup and libraries storing? The main question, basically, is: will this hackintosh be as my mac, if we talk about iOS and compatibility? i'll list my new pc here to help you all give me a hand: - Motherboard Asus Z97-A - Intel i7-4790K - Dissipatore Noctua NH-U12S - Grafica integrata intel HD 4600 (3 monitor fino a 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz —> 2K) - 2x schede FireWire (ognuna con 1 da 400 e 2 da 800) - RAM Kingston Hypk 4x8GB Hyper X Savage [HX324C11SRK4/32] - 2400 MHz - SSD Samsung MZ-75E500B/EU 850 EVO, 500G B, 2.5" SATA III - WiFi Airport Extreme TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 - Chassis Corsair (CC-9011076-WW) case mid tower ATX insonorizzato Carbide 330R Blackout Edition nero - 2x Startech.Com Adattatore Universale per Staffa di Montaggio Disco Rigido 3.5'' per Alloggiamento 5.25’’ - Corsair RM650 CP-9020054-EU Alimentatore ATX/EPS Serie RM da 650 Watt, Completamente Modulare con Certificazione 80 Plus Gold

  3. Toshiba Satellite L755 1j2 Hackintosh Download This file. It contains the zip file with everything you need for the installation. • A Toshiba Satellite L755 1j2– This is necessary to install macOS Sierra for this tutorial • A copy of Mac OS X – This can be in the form of an existing hackintosh, a virtual machine within Windows or Linux, or even a regular Mac. If you don’t have any of these things, then find someone who can help you out for a while. I prefer using a hackintosh with OSX El Capitan, Using an already working copy of Mac OS X either in a VM or a native hackintosh install is HIGHLY recommended. • A 8GB USB flash drive (or larger) – We’ll be copying the files to the drive appropriately, so make sure that you have a flash drive with enough storage space (8GB or larger). 4. Boot.plist <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Credits</key> <string>Niresh12495</string> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>"1920x1080x32"</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-f npci=0x2000 dart=0</string> <key>KeyLayout</key> <string>mac-fr</string> <key>QuietBoot</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Theme</key> <string>DType</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>3</string> <key>USBBusFix</key> <string>y</string> <key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>Yes</string> </dict> </plist> Et voilà
  5. I have an ASUS GTX 750 Ti PH Series 2GB DDR5 (ASUS GTX750TI-PH-2GD5) with VBIOS (or VBIOS 82.07.25.AS11). I have tried this card out on both Yosemite 10.10 and 10.10.1 with NVIDIA Web Drivers 343.01.01f01 through f03 and 343.02.01f01. I have 1xHDMI port, 2xDVI-D Dual Link and 1xVGA ports on the card. I have 1xHDMI and 1xVGA ports on my monitor Dell S2440L. The card is installed correctly and is detected in System Report > Graphics/Displays and even in NVIDIA Driver Manager's ECC tab (of course, ECC not supported though). While I have all ports functional in Windows and for my gaming needs, I'm not able to get any port to work with Yosemite. I get a blank screen with a 'No Signal' message on the HDMI and both the DVI ports with Yosemite, after the Apple logo boot screen or after NVIDIA Drivers have been loaded in verbose boot. I have tried 3 different HDMI cables and even a DVI2HDMI adapter. Apparently, VGA works on this card for a lot of people but I haven't been able to try it out. I have tried PCIRootUID=1 as one of the bootflags, as suggested in other solved threads in this forum for the ASUS GTX 750 Ti, but I get the same result. (i.e. No Signal). I have tried PCIRootUID=0, GraphisEnabler=No/Yes and all other sorts of boot flag permutations and combinations but NOTHING. My hackintosh works fine with the on-board Intel HD 4600 (1536MB VRAM) graphics (Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H, supported as per the HCL). From my extensive discussions on other forums, I have gathered that this problem is not faced by cards sold by other vendors such as Palit, Gigabyte, EVGA, MSI - if any problems have been faced by these cards, they have been solved/fixed. The problem is mainly limited to ASUS cards, the ASUS Strix OC card with VBIOS being the only exception which has even the HDMI port working. toleda analysed a bunch of IOREGs for us folks stuck with non-functioning GTX 750 Ti cards and he's ruled out any issue with the NVCAP or the framebuffers. The problem seems to be only with the ASUS VBIOS for every ASUS card except the ASUS Strix OC. Some people who have flashed the ASUS Strix OC VBIOS on their non-functioning cards have reported success in getting all the ports working. I personally am skeptical since the cards that have been experimented with as well as the ASUS Strix OC are bigger cards with two fans, while mine is smaller card with a single fan. I'm not sure if it'll be safe to flash my card with the ASUS Strix OC VBIOS because it obviously has a very different component layout/structure. I'm really at my wit's end and I would appreciate any inputs whatsoever. I'm attaching my card's VBIOS in case somebody can disassemble/analyse it to figure out exactly what is different between that VBIOS and the one on the ASUS Strix OC 750 Ti which can be found here. I have also attached my IOREG, NVCAP screenshots and a GPU-Z screenshot comparison of my card to an NVIDIA Reference 750 Ti. Can't the NVIDIA kexts be somehow edited to help recognise the non-functioning ports on these problematic ASUS cards & their baffling VBIOS? If you require me to provide any more information pertaining to my case, ask away; I'll upload ASAP. Any insight is appreciated? Help me solve this puzzle.

  10. So I boot OS X El Capitan from my Clover USB Drive, and instead of being presented with the option to Install, it gives me the option to reinstall. Odd if I do say so myself. OS X has never touched any of the drives in my PC, save for InstallESD.dmg, so it shouldn't be telling me to REinstall it. Anyway, I tried to use that option and it gives me a message saying that it will now connect to Apple's Servers for something, then it presents the error in the title ("Could not find information for this mac, contact apple care") Any thoughts?

  12. For those of you, like myself, who choose not buying QUO when it was on kickstarter phase and now regret for quite a while not being able to use a thunderbolt capable board with our good old Ivy Bridge CPUs, since 7-series boards vanished, and the few ones which had TB more so, that's noteworthy news. I was planning to upgrade my old i5 3570K, but perhaps I had an alternative which would allow me to keep it: http://quocomputer.com/shop/z77mx-quo-aos/ Still thinking about it: does it still worth the price in these 8/9 Series/Haswell/Broadwell days?

    Frage bzl. G5 Casemod

Hallo liebe Comunity, Ich plane seit heute morgen meinen ersten Hackintosh.
EFI Folder.rar
  15. Hi everyone! First, please forgive my English, is not my native language, so, Grammar Nazis are welcome to make an appearance here. Now to the main thing. A friend needs OSX for work, but he doesn´t has the budget to buy even the cheapest apple product, so I took his Packard Bell and started with this little project. Notebook specifications: CPU: Intel I5-450M RAM: 8GB DDR3 Video: Intel GMA HD <-Not sure about this...I know is a decent HD video card, but not sure about the model. Please let me know if it is vital info and I will ask the owner and update this. HDD: 320GB. + usual Notebook stuff like webcam, bluetooth, atheros chipset on the wifi hardware, realtek sound, etc. It´s a pretty nice PC, I guess it should be enough to run mountain lion...maybe I´m wrong. I tried with iDeneb 1.3 and didn´t work. stuck at instalation, Then i tried iAtkos L2 and managed to install, but got stuck in a nice apple loading screen. Before I jumped from my balcony, i saw this strange post in a obscure blog about the Niresh 12495 hackintosh. So I give it a try. Installed witouth troubles, but stuck in the apple logo again. I tried a -v boot and manage to see where it got stuck (couldn´t do that on iatkos or ideneb by the way). Captures at the end of this post. Lastly, I tried a -v -s -x boot. I got a console, so when i tried to input a help command, i realized the keyboard wasn´t working. It works in the boot screen, but when the console boots i guess is waiting for a bluetooth or a ps/2 keyboard, it doesn´t recognize nor the Notebook keyboard or a usb keyboard. So, should I give up? any advice will be welcomed warmly. Please don´t be shy and let me know if I can do anything else to help understand the issue. Kindest Regards from Chile. 16. Ciao ragazzi!
  17. Hi all! I want to apologize for my English is not perfect, but I'm Italian. I have a problem with my hackintosh 10.7.3 Lion. YouTube does not work. Load videos, but sometimes go in spurts, and sometimes not start. Are there any kext or other changes to get YouTubeworking? Thank you!
  18. Hi Forum, Basically I have spare computer which is a HP Pavilion t124a and I'm thinking of possibly turning it into a hackintosh. I do not know which type of distro of either 10.5 of 10.4 I should use. I have had success with the iPC 10.5.6 Public Beta, well... I mean I was able to boot the Install disk straight up from the Disk Drive without using a 'booter' (##### etc). The problem is... is that I don't know what kexts to use. I kinda based the kexts on what my computer hardware has, then I install it then come to the Darwin/x86 screen (Asking me to press any key to continue or to press F8 for boot flags) I choose the Boot flag option and type -f and -v as iPC recommends to. It then starts up with Apple Logo then loads the kexts for about 30 seconds then It loads up the first time set up then has a kernel Panic when I was up to putting my Registration Information in. while in -v mode it does come up with errors regarding com.superhai.GenericCPUPowerManagement or something like that. I don't know what kexts to use with this machine If possible, could someone tell me what kexts I use from my system ( My System Specs are... - 2.53GHz Intel Pentium 4 - 1GB RAM PC2700 (2x512 DIMM) DDR - Samsung SV076AH 60GB IDE - HP cd-writer/dvd-rom combo drive (I'm writing like a noob) - Gigabyte Geforce 6500 256MB AGP - Intel ICH4 Chipset - Realtek ALC650 Audio (AC'97) - Realtek RTL8101L I want know what kexts I should use regarding to the... - Kernel - Video Drivers (The motherboard uses AGP, do have the AGPGart 2.7.1 along with the NVinject 256MB or either one. OS X detects the Graphics card is on AGP thanks to AGPGart 2.7.1, but need drivers for the Geforce 6500/6200LE!!! - Power Management (GenericCPUPowerManagement by superhai wasa giving me a Kernal Panic) - Fixes and Patches - DSDT Patches (Which one do I choose that works?) - AppleSMBIOS (Do I need one? If I do, which one best works for my system) - Alternate Bootloaders (Do I need one? If I do, which one best works for my system) Thanks.

My first build, will this work?

Hello, everyone! I'm currently getting ready to buy all the parts to my first hackintosh rig and I need a little help from some experts. First, a little background. I film professionally. With that comes a lot of video editing, and all the editing software we use at my office are Mac OS X based which is why I'm building a hackintosh in the first place. Currently, I'm editing off of a Macbook Pro with a 2.4 ghz i7 proccessor, 8gb DDR3 RAM, Dual Graphics (Intel HD 4000 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M) with a 250gb SSD drive. Pretty nice and portable rig, but doesn't quite cut it when breaking into the realm of 4k. So, I figured I'd build a powerful rig that can dual boot Mac OS X and Windows 10. That way I can also use it as a gaming rig for entertainment at home and in the office. Also trying to keep it fairly portable, hense the mini itx suggestions. Here are the parts I'm considering for my rig, hoping that you guys can help me figure out what's compatible, what isn't, what could be a better value, etc. Thank you in advance: Processor: Intel Boxed Core I5-6500 FC-LGA14C 3.20 Ghz 6 M Processor Cache 4 LGA 1151 (BX80662I56500) Motherboard: Gigabyte LGA1151 Intel H170 Mini-ITX DDR4 Motherboard GA-H170N-WIFI RAM: Ballistix Sport LT 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) DIMM 288-Pin - BLS2K8G4D240FSB (Gray) SSD: Samsung 850 EVO - 250GB - 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E250B/AM) FAN: Noctua Low-Profile Quiet CPU Cooler for Intel 115x Based Retail Cooling NH-L9I Power Supply: Mini-Box picoPSU-160-XT High Power 24 Pin Mini-ITX Power Supply WIFI Card: BCM94352Z NGFF M.2 WiFi WLAN Bluetooth 4.0 802.11ac up to 867 Mbps card 22*30mm Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti SC 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card 02G-P4-3753-KR Case: SilverStone Technology Mini-ITX Slim Small Form Factor Computer Case RVZ02B Thanks again for reading my post, guys. Hopefully you can help me get this list settled in and I can build my first rig. Can't wait!

  24. Buongiorno a tutti.
  25. Hello Insanelymac, I've successfully installed Mac OS X Sierra on 2 32gb flash drives with them as a JBOD Raid. I can only get into the hackintosh if I use another USB flash drive with Clover installed on it. I've tried using a clover installer however that just installs on my Raid Disk. I've also noticed that when I open clover configurator, there are 2 EFI partitions but both of them were empty. I've tried moving the contents of the EFI on my Raid disk that clover installed but my BIOS does not detect it. Also when I use the other flash drive to boot into clover, there is another volume called "BOOT OS X" right next to my Raid Disk Volume that I use to boot from. I just want to install and boot off of my Raid usb flash drives. Really running out of options, Thanks guys.
