djkinetic
Well inspired by http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.php?t=299189 and tired of waiting around for macstyles.com, i decided to try the same nondestructive mod. I think it looks pretty good and it should help prevent scratches = ) i did the underside as well. Here's some pics:
domino
Impressive! How much weight does it add after the mod? I imagine the resale value will still be high when you try to sell it later. Just remove the mod and it's like new. Where did you get the accessories for the mod?
djkinetic
the film adds very little weight, all it is a liner with self adhesive, i got the liner from a store here in the US called Home Depot you can probably find it online though if your interested, http://www.bizrate.com/rd?http://www.hardw...amp;token_id=8B the back lining has a grid that makes it easy to cut. i1sam
Nice on 1st impression, i just hope it will not outgrown on you, because the edge portion and sides and i assume the bottom is not yet cover, i just think you will later get bored or used to it, that the white and brushed metal contrast will let you see the white macbook something not nice anymore... anyway, to each its own preferrence, nice modz, but i will no let that thing stick to my macbook...
