It don't have the Settings to change to AHCI, however the CPU strings needed fixed. You might try it now, though if no change use the original bios.

 

Here is the link, Just change the name of the Bios if you need it shorter. I renamed it so I can keep track of models

Hi to all,

Hi to OriginalMACNUT,

 

I'm trying to install Osx86 on my Asus X51RL, but it wouldn't install. It say "Still waiting for root device".

 

The only way I could install is by a ghost image from a Leo4all v2 installed on a partition on a USB disk, and boot from the installed Osx on USB disk. The probleme is I couldn't access to my disk or DVD inside the laptop.

My computer's specs are :

ASUS X51RL series

CPU : Pentium T2330

Chipset : ATI

Graphic Card : ATI Radeon X1100 (X300)

 

I don't know if the bios is in cause, but if you could verify this

hey OMN!

 

I have a classic ASRock issue, I'd be happy if you could clean my BIOS.

BIOS download

 

The motherboard is a P45XE with a Q8200 and a 9600GT.

Edit: I forgot to mention, both the instalation dvds and after being installed in other computer freezes on:

I'm making new designs and changes to the Website, as of now I'm not able to do much.

 

Once I get the New Page setup, I'll resume bios editing.

The new changes are needed for 10.5.6 Updates and I'm going to just wipe out the Bios Data base and start fresh with Complete error free Bios that will work with linux as well.

 

I've been doing alot of reading on the ACPI system states and Fixing & testing Sleep issue's with other bios as well.

 

I'll be release an update in about a week or two, but not till I'm fully Finish though.

Thanks for the support, If you need Help, you can pm. But plz remember if you want a bios edited, don't pm with that till I release another news updates.

hi dude i've this problem with my notebook, can you help me please?

 

ERROR I GET:

Using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers (I think this is an ACPI error.. but i'm not sure...)

NOTEBOOK SPECS:

MB: ASUS M51SE - Chipset ICH-8

CPU: Intel Core 2 DUO T9300 2,5Ghz 6MB Cache

RAM: 4GB

Audio: ALC 660

HD: Sata II 250GB

GPU: ATI HD3470

For those that Are needing a bios, Check back Sunday, as they will be done then with posted links.

I got a little Backed up with my 360 mods when I got home, and I have about 16 more to do ( Hoping to be done by today ).

koalala Has made a great Auto program for doing this, as I still do everything in Hex editor, so this might be a faster option for those still waiting.

I've decided to leave the Website in tack for now, instead I'll be adding a 10.5.6 Fix Bios section.

However, keep in mind that these are only fixed to boot 10.5.6, you will have to either have Driver for video/lan/sound, or have somebody else fix the bios for this, or use koalala Patcher to fix these problems, my goal is just making a plain Jane Bios that enable booting the bios.

Um? okay I'll have another look at it.

Did it flash and give this error? or did it give this error when trying to flash? Also what method are you using to flash? in windows I found 99% of the Time it will give an error of some sort, though flashing through DOS there is no problems with this, nor does it have any negative effect booting after wards.

 

I'll get it fixed here shortly and get it Re-uploaded to you, sorry about that.

i have try to make for my self a mod bios....and i f uck it:(

but i have 2 Asrock G31-gs, and i make a Hotflash of bios:D

 

please give me a good bios now;)

Try this one. But if it Fails also. Please be more Descriptive on what you was doing, as this will help figure out the problem ( ex. Flashing in windows/dos or If error are given after flash, also after flash be sure you set your Bios setting again, as every time you flash you have to do this, i.e F1 to continue Bios setup F2 to continue Booting )

 

P.S. Don't try Flashing in Windows, use Dos prompt.
