From the tiny picture that actually looks pretty damn good. I might throw this into a VM just to see how it looks.

Maybe I'll consider replacing my current Boot Camp XP install... woot.

@Colonel: Who cares if it's a Vista clone? As long as it's still XP under all the bling then I'll take it over Vista any day.

This looks sweet, I'm downloading it now!

I've found a whole bunch of these "Windows XP Essential" torrents, with varying sizes (508-595mb) and descriptions, and version no's. But the best seeded one is the 545.08 version mentioned here...

Can't wait to check it out, this looks exactly right for me...

I believe someone named Jackdilla was the original creator of the unattended XP install disc that passes WGA. Everyone else just took that and slipstreamed apps and GUI mods and such. If you want it, go to the usual places and search for "Jackdilla". If you're lucky enough to get it, you should use that to create your own XP mod. I used that and added WMP11 and IE7. That's about it, since adding a lot of things to the install disc can mess a lot of things up so beware.

DON'T!!

The graphics is not all it is made out to be! I ran it on my Dell it's old XP with an overlay, and not a good one in my opinion! Some of the buttons looks like they were cut&pasted in and you can get the modified theme and apply it to your own installation

REALLY, really disappointing!
