i guess it wont be ever cracked ..but there will be 10.4.5 which will be easily cracked...

it already has been cracked a little bit:

10.4.4 can boot to single user root prompt now.

progress is being made with 10.4.4, most definitely. We're at a point where it won't be too much longer if everything goes as planned, but it's just a matter of testing.

We have only ported the No-NX and cpuid patches to it as well as removing a reference to EFI.

People that have already bypassed EFI to inject BootX

Why do you think 10.4.5 wil be easier to crack than 10.4.4 ?

johan...i stated that because today while on software searching i saw a firms sayin..we are planning to release an universal binary but as we found some buggy and unstable issues with osx 10.4.4 we will be releasing it soon after release of 10.4.5 ...

and another thing they have to update the 10.4.5 for 10.4.4 intel version ..and we could software update if we have the 10.4.4 dual core intelf rom the net ; can't we ? So that release will be for intel versions..i guess...

Just a quick synopsis of what we've accomplished. i may post more detailed info of what we have done, are doing and still must do later tonight or tomorrow.

Like Simon said (ha... simon says...), we can currently boot to single user mode as well as to a blue screen with mouse pointer. We are currently working on creating an alternative to Dont Steal Mac OS X.kext to decrypt encrypted binaries (Safari, ATS framework, Translate(d)/Rosetta).

Once our Dont Steal alternative is fully working, it will then be a matter of patching the TPM check out of Rosetta. As of right now, those are the only road blocks we know of that are remaining, but there certainly is the possibility of others that we do not yet know about.

Someone said above "they're probably in testing." that's not the case at all, there is a lot of work to still be done.

Hopefully by 10:30AM EST so you guys can install it while I am on lunch, and then I can come back and read about how you guys have all the bugs worked out and how I can easily get my onboard Marvell LAN OR my Linksys LNE100TX to install without effort (I'm not picky) and be able to run 1680x1050 on my Radeon when I get home and have it all done in time to watch Survivor, by which time my iLife download will be complete!

[Holy Run-On Sentence BATMAN!!]

Yeah, I would give my left nut for that. Please don't ask me to, it's likely that I will take you up on it!
