if you wanted it to look perfect you are going to have to do a little bit of cutting. The ATX power supply is a little different than the G5 power supply so it won't work on the motherboard. You will have to find a way to mount either a standard ATX power supply or maybe a micro ATX power supply in its place. The PCI ports shouldn't be a big deal. But the other ports on the will have to be cut out and you will have to some how attach the face plate provided with your motherboards. Tape is the easiest route, but it wont look great. You may have to actually weld the two metals together. The links to your cases don't work anymore so I am looking at other pictures of Power Mac G5s. The front ports shouldn't be difficult to connect. If port connections are different such as usb and audio (never seen a g5 motherboard) then you will have to solder on some new connectors. As far as the fans from what I can tell, you might be able to mount on some fans or use the old ones. Find out the size of them once you get the cases and order them accordingly. Good luck!

it comes with the logic motherboard but doesnt function and it has comes with all wire and the i/o board the one in the front yeah and i am will to cut the backs of them

what's with everyone buying a G5 case lately? I feel bad for all the naked G5's out there. :)

I was thinking the same thing, especially in this cold cold winter ;\

It's like the fur trade... people laying out traps for the g5's who get snagged in them. Then they are brutally raped of their skin... Processors, Ram, Outdated video cards flying everywhere. PCB dust covering the floor...

So Brutal ;\ Please stop the Case Trade, buy artificial cages so that the Wild G5's can thrive in the wild once again!

@dylan: LOL thanks that is what I was aiming forto everyone who knows this how can I make it so the power button on the case will work and the usb and firewire and audio cuz it uses a small little internal usb can I just connect that usb to my motherboard. Also the fans many user said they got it to work

These are the imagees of them

I want to remove the motherboard and I am willing to remove the back panel connections everything else I want to keep same with the other one

and anyone have any ideas on how I can stick the dvd drive at the top.

This is in the wrong section of the forum you know. A few peeps have started new threads in the mods and overclocking section, or just add your project log to the stickied PC in a G5 case. :P
thanksHow do I move this post

there is a whole thread on how some dude modded his mobo and stuff to fit into a g5 case over at the mods/benchmark section. Also you guys want to make ur stuff like mac.. i on the other hand try to make mine look as PC as possible.. im talkin like the awesome old grey midtowers. WOOT

Edit: Here is that Thread http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=79073

also those stock Logic boards are flippin huge. They have so much real estate. It doesnt look like its being used either.. i see hardly any traces or transistors or anything
