I built a cable to use the power from the second optical plug for powering the sata Blu Ray and send power to the USB 2.0 expansion card. I connected the sata-to-usb adapter and tied everything up. Instead of the original slot covers, I used two from another case with nice holes in them for improved ventilation. Since my Mac was already open... I thought I could improve Apple design by adding a dust filter in the front! Et-voila'! Neat and clean! My Mac Pro is finished and the Blu Ray player works beautifully! (Win7 is used to watch BR movies, naturally).
