idividebyzero
http://www.istartedsomething.com/20071208/...-sp1-changelog/ EFI support FINALLY, and we can now boot from GPT discs. If youve been following PC_EFI development youd know that we can boot GPT partitions for OSX, with this new SP 64bit users can leave MBR behind forever (you may or may not need a UEFI motherboard for this though, its not very clear). Now we'll have to wait for UEFI motherboards and see how that affects OSx86.

Headrush69
IM not running SP1 on i have EFI v8.0 on a GPT and it boots just fine. Me too. I think this means directly from a BIOS type boot selector rather than using the Darwin boot loader. (Not really BIOS since it is EFI, but you get the idea.) robotskip
awesome! it just sucks its just for x64 Err, no, it's for x86 as well. I don't know how the hell anyone could think SP1 is for only x64, do you have any idea of the type of outrage this would cause? o_0 The universe would implode! scj312
SP1 is for x86 and x64, these EFI and GPT features are only for x64.
