Carpet
Hm, i was searching to find an answer to my firewire issues and came up empty. System Profiler has this under Firewire: FireWire Bus: Warning: The FireWire drivers are not loaded. I don't really have anything that connects via Firewire other than my iPod, which i connect through USB, but i wanna fix it if its at all possible. Any suggestions? EDIT: Forget about what i said in this Post, I am retarded. Guest Snowski
Quick Question. Is there a 64bit kernel around to run in 64bit mode (if Leopard even has seperate modes that is) I'm running Zeph's release without the "legacy" flag, latest kernel (from IRC) and Geekbench shows 32 bit (64bit bench does not start) Thx in advance for the info. naquaada
I installed Leopard on an Athlon 64 3700+ Socket 939. Seems a bit slow, especcially hdd. I had to remove all Gefore kexts and NvidiaResMan.kext, otherwise I got a kernel panic. How can I get support for my ATI X1600Pro (ID: 71c2) ? I also need a german language pack. I somebody could upload it to rapishare or something else would be great. GreetinX from the other Side! I'm running into some trouble. @P-J : Beta testing is limited to Wiki mods at the moment. We'll keep you informed about updates/release info. FYI, I'm going to test 2 ways of installation. 1st way is upgrading from Rev1 to Rev2 via DVD. 2nd is complete reformat. Shade, i PM'ed you before i the post so i didn't include your name in there To ALL: i can confirm that the CPUS=1 issue is solved in Rev2.0. (i have to do some more testing with full use of 100mbit up/down streams and multiple streams but for now it looks solide. System boots by default without any flags ( no -lagecy, -v -x -x86 etc) the install did give some problems with a LAN cable attached but we will look into it. GingerTea
I'm going to use another brand new HDD to test Rev.2, because I am not going to mess my Rev.1 HDD, which works perfectly! I'm maybe also going to try it on a AMD notebook. I am currently 'speed downloading' - about 1 hour left. THANKS Bonkey!
