So after browsing through the new Leopard pages on Apple.com, I discovered some inconsistencies in the screenshots of Finder. The Dock in the mentioned screenshots varies, which raises the question of what build these screenshots were made in. It would appear that Apple has possibly updated the Dock since 9A559 to be much more transparent.

New updated Dock?

9A559 Dock?

And for comparison, here is a screenshot of my current dock in 9A559:

Good eye! I can hardly tell the difference. Also, on Apple.com, the screenshots showcasing the new Desktop are different in themselves. Going back and forth really shows the difference in transparency. Also, the angle of the dock is slightly different. The Trash can also appears to be different. Darker and more prominent.

the iMovie icon is different as well, how come? see the centre of the 2 icons, it was light brown in 9a559, and dark brown in the apple.com one

2ndly, why is the apple.com one still 17 JUL???!!!!!! i want the iCal follow the real dates, what special is 17th July??? is it....birthday of Job's daughter or what?

3rdly, the Safari icon has more shadows, which made it darker i'd think.

i do think the 9a559 one looks better.

If you look in the dock, there is a "wave " shaped pattern that was on 9a559. The final one does not have it (it is actually straight)...hope u can understand...

You're just wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

It doesn't dip as far down as the 9A559 one did, but the "S-curve" as the resource file calls it still does curve.
