Yesterday i had time and test some Hardware on Hackintosh (view signature System 1)

-works as Soundcard, Midi Controller and Plugin (out of the Box) original Driver from access-music.de

Edirol FA-66 FW Soundcard

-works without any Problem... Plugin, no driver needed, works complete

Behringer FA-202

-works without any Problem... Plugin, no driver needed, works complete

Tascam 1082 FW DAW Controller + Soundcard

-works out of the Box... use original Driver from Tascam

all cards testet as System Sound Card and in Logic 8

not working:

M-Audio Delta 410 PCI Card

tried to modifie driver from FW Version.. but cant get it to work.

ZOOM H4 working fine as usb interface and as a SD reader... :(

Most of the time anything PCI will NOT work on a hack, but most FW or USB will work no problem as the device has its own driver ready for core audio.

Peace :P

I have a presonus firebox(firewire) working perfectly as the main sound in and out. Worked right out of the box as a sound card but had to load the drivers in order to get sync. I'm running Logic pro 8 and I just downloaded the tutorial from macprovideo as I am trained in protools and have no idea how to edit audio using Logic. But I have succesfully connected Reason 4 and Logic 8 simultaneously via rewire no problem. I wish logic was as easy to figure out as protools and reason, but I feel ready to make the switch.
