A Nonny Moose
Seriously, how many times does it take before people actually listen? Apple warned everyone to STOP USING CODEWARRIOR and they would be sorry if they kept using it. Well, the new Macs rolled out with Intel processors and the only way to code for them (until REALBasic updated) was XCode. Nobody listened to the warning. Apple warned everyone that OS X will never be supported on non-Apple stuff. People didn't listen and every time an OS update comes out, people scramble to try and make it work. Apple warned everyone that messing with the iPhone could result in iBricks. People messed with it and unlocked it and the newest update turned them into iBricks (although there is a workaround). Now every time the iPhone is updated, we'll be scrambling. How many more times will we not listen? Yami Bakura
There will always be people who won't listen and will ignore the warnings. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64917-apple-warned-you/#findComment-459838 Share on other sites
Lactobacillus P
There will always be people who won't listen and will ignore the warnings. And there will always be people who do listen and choose to ignore the warnings to do their own thing. sarahbau
If everyone only did what others told them they should do, very little would ever get accomplished. dyspm
Apple warned everyone that OS X will never be supported on non-Apple stuff. People didn't listen and every time an OS update comes out, people scramble to try and make it work. And those people MAKE it work. Apple warned everyone that messing with the iPhone could result in iBricks. People messed with it and unlocked it and the newest update turned them into iBricks (although there is a workaround). Now every time the iPhone is updated, we'll be scrambling. People messed with iPhone and they unlocked it. This is something GOOD. There will be consequences, and there will always be workarounds. So what is the problem? How many more times will we not listen? Don't know. MANY MANY more times I hope. Urbz
I think mark1970 hit it right on: most if not all of the people who "don't listen" actually have listenned and are now chosing not to obey. That's different from not listenning at all. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64917-apple-warned-you/#findComment-460819 Share on other sites
JSn1™
There will always be people who won't listen and will ignore the warnings. And there will always be people who do listen and choose to ignore the warnings to do their own thing. And there will always be people who make it work again and better.
