cornolio Posted September 29, 2007 Share Posted September 29, 2007 I 've annoying problem, after my sucsessfull installation osx10.4.6. and after system restart Osx doesn't boot on its drive. i've got osx on ata hd and xp on sata. i 've created partition like it is mantioned on forum with diskpart id=af etc. one time osx run with no problem , but later it doesn't. now it's stuck. my partiotion with osx is set to active and all methods fails. NEED HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my sys. is : amd 3200 (s.939) asus a8n-e, 1GB ram, Sata 80 gb, ata 40 gb. ravez Posted September 30, 2007 Share Posted September 30, 2007 go in the disk utility after booting from dvd and chosing the hard disk where you installed the OS go to partition. Then at the bottom click on options and set the third option (MBR). Once the partitioning is complete (few seconds) just reboot and it should work. I had this same problem today and it worked out perfectly!! cornolio Posted September 30, 2007 Author Share Posted September 30, 2007 yep, but as it is written in disk util, it is impossible to partition the disk where the osx is , so these options are forbiden and don't work.... when i enter diskutil see my disk , and in partition tab i see my osx partition but i can;t do anything.... soo please more help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
