bplein
agp part or whatever its called..if you have an agp card  I am running AGPGart 2.1. I looked at the string of 2.x upgrades, but I saw more people complaining that anything beyond 2.1 broke their systems. I haven't tried those yet. Any suggestions? Is there some sort of logging that can be enabled to get more details from the Titan failure?  Thanks in advance...
bplein
I saw another thread that suggested that if one removes AGPGart entirely, that it helps. Â And it does! My 6800GT AGP is recognized as a PCI card, and works great, and now QE/CI is supported as well.
Redrum76
There was some problem with the modded PKG i will upload it somewhere else soon !greets Redrum!hope this one works !http://www.mediafire.com/?7msftztm4nt
lewellyn
I downloaded Redrum's latest upload, but it won't install for me. The installer (very) momentarily displays "Preparing Target Volume" before pulling out a drawer telling me to try installing again. The logs indicate that the preflight script is failing. Â At least the OS is quick about it! jeff300
I've tried this nice package with my GeForce 6150 SE and it does not work. When it reboots, it hangs. Â Fortunately I was able to uninstall with the instructions supplied earlier in the thread. Â If anybody managed to get it to work with the 6150, please let me know how. Thanks. Â
lewellyn
Jeff, the 6150 is the holy grail. If you have a CRT, the driver that started this thread will get you a very dim screen. (My LCD and projector go into power-saving mode, indicating a voltage issue.) That's a vast improvement over every other driver which doesn't even get close to properly initializing the display. Â I have heard that MacVidia 1.0.7 (good luck finding it) works (or worked) properly with the 6150. And there was someone who managed to get it working with a very specific AGPGart version, though it didn't work for me. Â So, I'm pinning my hopes upon this driver actually receiving some love at some point, since I don't have the cash to go buy an additional video card at the moment. (I'm more likely to end up with an Apple machine than dumping lots of cash into a Hackintosh, anyhow.) Â One thing I'm curious about: how much video memory is seen by each of the following, in your case, for the 6150: BIOS, Windows, Darwin? It seems to me that Darwin sees twice as much memory than is actually allocated. A clue, perhaps?
Redrum76
Maybe i upload the wrong pKG i will look in to it in the afternoon! Â and i will check for 6150 i have one too and my mother wants it also!
