And offering people money to work faster only causes problems we have seen that in the past. I just got a new 7600GT), but if I remember correctly, there is something in the way the Mac reads the amount of memory that makes it different than Windows. Only powers of two seem to work well on Macs - 128, 256, 512, etc. Odd numbers like 320 and 640 are harder to get working.
